Name That Trek

Nog from DS9's 4th season episode "Little Green Men"?

Bashir and Obrian give Nog a guide-book for Earth. He asks, "You mean it will teach me to attract human females?"

I'll give it a try: Commander Riker TNG the episode about the female dominated planet?

No, but both on the mark for the flavor of male that you're looking for. I'm heartened by your responses because I was truly getting to the point that I thought I was simply talking to myself. With a little more of the thoughtfulness that you two have displayed, I now have hope that the identity here will soon be revealed and our long national nightmare will be over.:)

DS9 - Zek - Ferengi Love Songs ?

DS9 - Quark - Profit and Lace ?

ENT - Trip - Cogenitor ?

ENT - Phlox - In a Mirror, Darkly II ?

????????????????????!?

No you don't. The persistent lieutenant hit the mark with his very last guess. Phlox being played into helping destroy the Defiant by T'Pol and Soval with the promise of unlimited concubines given in gratitude by the Emperor.

Unfortunately for all of you, I will take advantage and throw out the next one. Much easier to mark and identify I'd wager and the answer should come quickly without any help needed.

"Call Mister Spock! Call Mister Spock!

Are we accepting portions of quotes?
Yes, or even less. "...try to guess the Trek series and episode from as little information as possible - a line, or action, set element or screenshot, etc."

In that case and only because it's Worf, I will weigh in with his comment to O'Brien about blood wine in Change of Heart.

That's the one, Drone. Feel free to leave a clue!

Meanwhile here's a softball:

"Why don't you come back later on and you and me will find us a couple low-mileage pit woofies and help em build a memory."

Are we accepting portions of quotes?

If I may, I would think yes and no.

NO: "Fire!"
YES: "Mister Worf...Fire!" (TNG: BOBW) This is a recognizable unit of Trekdom that people actually have a chance of intuiting. The former is a pedantic waste of everyone's time. :p

EDIT: I still consider Drone's one-word quote "Trekognizable" :D

When I got the idea for the OP I was actually trying to place the Prune Juice scene into its episode from memory - I was distressed to learn I COULDN'T DO IT! Even something so familiar for some of us - isn't always so easy to place.

I didn't want to bog it down with a bunch of rules, so I'm just going to say, this game is for defeating Moriarty, not Data. :bolian:

"The Neutral Zone". That one was pretty funny. I still don't know what that means. Lol

Clue: A certain Starfleet character, breaks character and ad libs in a certain scene. It's very subtle, but if you pay close attention, you may be able to catch it.

That will take a very considerable amount of thought and I suspect that it will turn out to be far beyond my ken. However, I will take up the OP's offer to make another contribution. This will take far less time to crack than the one above.

"I can only take small doses of Vulcan philosophy".

I have a feeling I know who could have said that, but not entirely sure, and can't place the serious or episode yet.

As for the previous clue, I'll add some extra hints .

In this episode, a starfleet characters breaks character, and adlibs in a certain scene.

It's a female Starfleet officer. Not a captain. A bit lower.

She did all her scenes normally up to this point, but after this she subtly slips this in. It may not have been scripted.

Perhaps she either said something or did something.

Hmm. Is this Hoshi pulling an all-nighter in Enterprise?

^^ No, she's not from Enterprise (the show). But she is like a supporting character.

Some extra points :

-- It's unexpected.

-- It's something the actress apparently threw in real quick.

-- She's temporarily breaking character to tell you something.

--You have to pay attention to catch it, but it is in front of you.

-- It may be something she said or did (words or gesture).

--It's a female starfleet officer, between an ensign and a commander.

--She's not from the science division.

-- It's not from Enterprise.

This sounds like either Janeway, Archer, Pulaski, Phlox, or Lore. No, I will guess - Amanda in TNG's Sarek?

Hm, tough ones! At first, I would have guessed Chakotay corpsing about the Rubber Tree people in Tattoo. Alternatively I might have guessed Seven talking to Janeway about what motivates fans in Virtuoso.

The clues seem to limit the options to: Uhura on TOS (but I doubt they'd do this), B'Elanna Torres, Seska or Samantha Wildman from Voyager; Tasha Yar or Troi on TNG. (Aren't Dax and Crusher from the Science Division)? Have I forgotten any?

I will guess...B'Elanna Torres in Muse talking about putting Starfleet "Eternals" on a pedestal?
