ENTER! Misc. Av. Contest: Video Games

Since I've been spending an inordinate amount of time on Steam lately, I've been thinking a lot about video games, so I decided to make it the theme of this week's contest. Any actual video game --pc, console, arcade, portable game system, etc--and any depiction--a scene or screenshot, a logo, cover art, game characters, etc. The only limits are that it must be from the actual video game and not a movie, tv, novelization or comic book depiction, nor can it be a fictional game from any of the above forms of media.

Standard BBS avatar rules apply: 150x150 pixels max and 140 KB max.The poll will go up on Thursday.

Since I'm an old fart, I actually have fond memories of playing this oh-so-exciting game when I was a kid:

Pong

From This War of Mine. A game I've been... well, "playing" feels like the wrong word for content this depressing, but it's an amazing game.

I don't play a lot of different video games, but there are a few I really enjoy. Usually for avatar contests my go-to games are Mass Effect or Fallout... so let's mix it up a little.

Here's GLaDOS from the Portal franchise:

Ah, video games. Something else I know nothing about. Do RPGs (like AD&D) or Interactive Fiction (like Infocom) count?

You mean like a text-adventure game, like Zork? That would be OK. If it needs a video screen to play it, I'll allow it.

Yeah, Zork was one. Thank you. The games were text only, but there were pictures on the boxes. :rommie:

I thought maybe you were going to do Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy :)
