She is the Empress Elizabeth Bathory of Hungary, who was something of a real-life vampire. She used to bath in virgin girls blood and drink it, to stay youthful. Plus a whole whack of torture. I will NOT be watching that!

Oh, yeah, Elizabeth Bathory has been a staple of vampire movies and novels for decades now. (Most recently in Fright Night 2 with Jaime Murray as the Countess.) Granted, some historians question the accuracy of those early accounts of her crimes, claiming they were exaggerated or fabricated by her political enemies, but she's going to be remembered as the Blood Countess anyway.
