Spoilers Arrow - Season 4

Considering that it was Barry that showed up and his only real attachment in Star/ling city being Felicity......

That's why they want us to think. But Barry didn't seem that broken up; he missed her funeral, and his appearance was pretty fleeting.

Diggle mentioned needing to feed his kid like three times, and mentioned her in passing a couple more times.

The child is the most expendable "major" character.

Barry has an attachment to Oliver.

It could be Thea, or anyone on Team Arrow that Barry had met through the course of "mutual aid" team-ups over the previous year.

I wondered why Lance never mentioned DD when the leadership was offed. I never would have guessed Captain Lance would turn to "the dark side".

Will next week be "6 months later", or will that be the season finale this year?

Remember the heart condition?

Although selling out the city to avoid a natural death is tacky.

Who brings Sarah back?

I assumed it was Malcolm Merlin, but Damien has his own supply of lazerus water

OH!

HAL FRICKING JORDAN ON SCREEN!!!!

WOOP! WOOP!

I thought it was Felicity too but I agree with Clegg's assessment and I can't see them killing her off. She's popular. I hope it's not Diggle's wife. She seems like a candidate.

Liking Damian Darhk so far. Obvious clichéd bad guy but he's still a more fascinating character than I anticipated and McDonough sells it.

Ollie's still causing trouble for the city. What a train wreck. The train that is.

Ollie posing as a new guy and people buying it is weak but it is what it is.

"This is so cool!" Really? They're shooting at you while you're on a motorcycle.

So is Shield done with Dugan? I only ask because, while they're now several actors who've crossed the streams, I can't think of anyone who's done so concurrently.

Well, season 3 dropped on Netflix today and Hulu keeps old episodes for 5 weeks. That means I've got that long to binge on S3 and catch up to S4.

Destroy/Save the City - there's a recurring theme. Slade Wilson, then Ra's al Ghul, and now it's Damien Dark. As redundant as it may seem, it actually works because of the strong and solid script and well written characters.

I'm curious as to Dark's supernatural abilities. What is the source of his powers? It surprised me to see Dick Lance secretly meeting with Dark; he may be turning into a traitor, with the predictable fate of dying later after realizing the error of his ways.

I wonder if what happens 6 months down the road takes place in a parallel universe. If not, then I fear for Laurel's or Thea's life. Or Diggle's.

This season opener felt....off to me. Disjointed maybe. Strangely, lacking in energy. Even Barry showing up lacked...something. As said by another poster, why are evil organizations hell bent on destroying this city, year after year? Go pick on some other city.

Do you mean the "strong and solid script writing" that many people last season complained was way too heavy on relationship drama last season?

I personally think they could actually use some more villains of the week. The same overall villain by a different name is getting really boring.

Heck, a villain like Damien Dark wanting to "destroy the city" is a waste of him. He should be looking to harvest the souls of the population for some bigger reason. He's a freakin mystical based character. Give him a motive in line with that.

Well, the season premiere of Felicty (co-starring Arrow) was ok. All of the domestic/relationship stuff between Felicity and Oliver was horrible, and Oliver's "This is a one time thing", "I'm leaving when this is through", etc, was irritating and about as cliche as they could get. Oh, and detective Lance is still a completely unlikeable a-hole, except now he's also an outright supervillain.

But, all that said, the stuff with Team Arrow was pretty good, and the villain seems interesting, even if his goal isn't very unique. Having the villain's powers be mystical is also very cool, introducing magic to the Flashverse can only be a good thing. Oliver's declaration "I am the Green Arrow" gave me chills, so maybe his character isn't totally ruined by Felicity.

Also, I hope the grave is Felicity's, since that is basically what I've wanted to happen since Season 3. Honestly, I don't think the scene really says its someone less important than Felicity, although I know I'm probably not lucky enough for it to be her. I was thinking it might be Detective Lance, although someone related to Diggle would also make sense.

Well, maybe we'll get to see some soul harvesting as the season progresses.. ;)

I'm actually more weary of the "5 years ago" flashbacks. I mean, pretty soon, we'll get flashbacks from Seasons 1 and 2.

Honestly i don't know why i watch Arrow, i can't stop noticing plotholes, dumb behaviour and bad acting.

Honestly, with very few exceptions, this has got to be one of the worst acted shows ever and that includes Amell as the lead.

Flash, even with only one season under its belt (also with some questionable quality in some episodes) is the far superior show (and i didn't not even compare it to Daredevil who, for me, is the best superhero TV show currently in existence).

I will of course watch on, harp on how bad some things are and enjoy the few things that are good.. i'm an awesome hypocrite :p:lol:.

Oh.. and Diggle's Judge Dredd helmet needs to go.. fast (Arrows new costume i liked though).

Yeah, I can't see Barry missing the funeral if it was Felicity's. I'm betting it was either Laurel's father or Diggle.

As for Damien Darhk, I think it's a safe bet this is how/why they being John Constantine into the mix. Either he just turns up on the hunt for something connected to Darhk, or Ollie already knows him and brings him in to help.

This just in... Mack from Agents of SHIELD joins the cast of Arrow!
He'll swoop in and challenge Green Arrow for the lovely Felicity Smoake, and the new dynamic duo will make eyes and coo over each other for at least 40 minutes an episode- leaving just 2 mins left for the plot.

You'll really gonna love it kirk. :p
