The only famous Bennetts I'm related to are ones who are famous in scholarly fields, like my namesake cousin who's an expert in pterosaurs, and my late Uncle Emmett, a classical scholar and cryptographer who helped decipher the Mycenean Linear B writing system. I have a cousin who's done a lot of film and TV work as a stunt performer or technical consultant for scenes involving bicycles, skates, and the like, but his surname isn't Bennett.
