So, knowing the approximate speed of the gyre rotation of that ocean should give them a better idea of where the crash occurred, yes?
About That Airplane Part That Was Supposed to Solve the MH370 Mystery ... http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2015/08/strange-saga-of-the-mh370-plane-part.html
Maybe they need to start counting 777's ? Clearly this part was tossed into the ocean by whoever took the plane in the first place.
What amazes me is that we can locate a slain lion in the middle of the African desert because the lion was geotagged. To which I ask, why isn't every major component of a passenger jet airliner made to include these kinds of geotags?
They are certain it came from a 777, but they "can't be 100% sure it came from that 777". It had to come from MH370, or it was placed there.
Possible break in the case: http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/16/asia/mh370-objects-satellite-photos/index.html
I hadn't realized that they had found three pieces, one of which indicates that someone was definitely not trying to land the plane when it went down. I also hadn't realized that they confirmed that the plane spiraled down into the ocean at high speed. How terribly scary. However, it sounds like the passengers and crew may have all been incapacitated before the plan actually went down.
I thought there must be some new conspiracy theory before I realized that "plane" was meant instead of "plan!"
A Canadian aviation expert has said that he has solved the case of the missing MH370 passenger aircraft. According to him it was a case of murder-suicide. http://www.cbc.ca/news/mh370-flight-malaysian-airlines-crash-1.4665938
Since the existing MH370 thread has actually been active within the last year, I'm going to go ahead and merge this into that one.
Yeah unfortunately it doesn't look like it's as "100%" certain as this person claims. It seems like it's more his personal interpretation that experts don't really agree with. And his explanation for this discrepancy is that the investigators didn't have enough experience to know the true answers. He conveniently brushes off questions about which pilot might have done this and why by saying that's for psychologists to figure out. In a sense that's true, but you can't completely ignore that type of evidence when formulating your theory. In reality, I doubt we'll ever have a true answer for what happened, unless we find some manifesto from one of the pilots or someone else on the plane outlining their nefarious plans. What we can say for sure is that a lot of lives were cut short through no fault of their own, and that's really too bad.
