I know. I wish they hadn't shown us the preview because it left me thinking, "Damn it! Show that NOW!!"
I've watched the first couple episodes of this season to get a feel of what they're doing (production-wise) to get a handle of what they'll be asking extras to do on their set. I'm a theatre guy, so my sets aren't usually more than thirty foot wide. This would be a different experience.![]()
I answered a similar question about Ragnar Lothbrok in "Vikings", in which I caught some ire for not being in spoilers (despite the fact that his fate was hundreds of years known), so I shall learn from my mistakes when it comes to "spoiler alerts" and historical figures in modern fiction:So is the Mormon leader dead or not? I don't see how he could survive that kind of injury, especially as he's an old man.
No mention of death by stabbing from his son, but he did seem to have intestinal problems toward the end. Before his death in Salt Lake City on August 29, 1877, Young was suffering from cholera morbus and inflammation of the bowels. It is believed that he died of peritonitis from a ruptured appendix. His last words were "Joseph! Joseph! Joseph!", invoking the name of the late Joseph Smith, founder of the Mormon faith. On September 2, 1877, Young's funeral was held in the Tabernacle with an estimated 12,000 to 15,000 people in attendance. He is buried on the grounds of the Mormon Pioneer Memorial Monument in the heart of Salt Lake City. A bronze marker was placed at the grave site June 10, 1938, by members of the Young Men and Young Women organizations, which he founded.
Hope you like mud. Always seems to be alot of it on the show.
