The C-3PO has the red arm and two gold legs. I may owe Cooleddie a coke.

I really like the selection of mini vehicles! And personally, I prefer the 5 POA figures. For younger kids, the high articulation figures are nearly impossible to get to stand up. I have a mix of the original Kenner figures and more the recent figures, and the older ones are by far easier to play with, especially for my younger son.

Well, that's it; they've clearly gone down the kid's toy route as opposed to appeasing collectors (which is absolutely the right thing to do, business wise).

I just hope we haven't seen the end higher end collector 3.75" figures and vehicles and we get our of TFA stuff further down the line.

I really like the cave and the Eskimo looks more like Captain Cold than any 4" figure of Captain Cold I have seen yet. (Are you paying attention yet Funko?)

Yeah, some of the AP toys are amusing in a non-realistic way. I'd buy some of them if I could afford it just for the wacky monsters.

someone on ebay is selling the black series Rey and BB-* combo. You can use Ebay'sfeatures to get closeups, and you can see that the face sculpt is pretty bad and resembles a woman over twice the age of Daisy. Also the back of the box revealsa tidbit of background information about BB-8 I did not expect

And that's the 6", premium version of Rey, not the 5-POA figure. Hasbro has always had difficulty replicating female faces and likenesses but I wish they'd get them right for the $20+ collector-focused figures. The basic 5-POA figure might actually have a closer resemblance to Daisy Ridley, although I've seen just one or a couple of carded samples online so that could just be a result of the lighting in those photos.

In addition to the catalogue leak...there is an article up on Making Star Wars that states we will get future releases of the Big Three along with the other characters not featured in the first wave of the Black Series (such as General Hux, Captain Phasma, etc etc).

I pointed out my disappointment on the lack of Daisy's likeness as well, on the previous page. My most anticipated figure and Hasbro let me down :(

I am however getting Finn and Kylo Ren.

What's more interesting is the BB-8 spoiler on the back of the box

Here's her 5-POA figure. This facial sculpt might be closer to Daisy Ridley than the 6" figure's.

Yeah who would have thought the smaller scale figures would have better likenesses than the Black Series?

Hasbro is so wildly inconsistent with its product quality anymore. The premium figures look goofy or awful much too often and the cheaper, less sophisticated ones often have better and more accurate facial and head sculpts.

It's just really disappointing. The Black Series probably was the most anticipated figure assortment from "The Force Awakens" outside of the higher end toys like Hot Toys, and it seems like already they've let us down with them. Ah well...we can only hope the future releases are an improvement or that they do a re-release at some point for this wave. I believe it's supposed to contain Watto and Young Anakin as well correct?

They have quality control? The pressure from retailers and suppliers seem to have them reducing QC and even plastic quality. Some of the recent plastic feels like it's KO quality. And we have accounts of Hasbro reps bragging about how they saved a bunch on oil/gas by developing new (and presumably inferior) plastic. Once labor costs in China have increased, they have also moving operations to Vietnam in the race to the bottom.

Yeah, that's the same reaction most of us have. "Wait - this company has Quality Control?" Between the packaging often falling apart in stores, bad paint apps and the deteriorating, cheaper quality of materials it's a wonder that collectors haven't completely abandoned Hasbro, and that doesn't include the awful retail distribution problems that result in many if not most of their recent products being hard to find in stores.

The rush for the almighty profit margin has damaged their product and their customer relations, and in the long run that isn't going to be good for Hasbro and not good for their loyal customer base. They're shooting themselves in the foot and blaming the public for it when their products have bad sales and reviews.

That's what dropping production standards and lowballing contracts gets you.

The future of adult toy collecting is gonna be 3D Printed Customs once 3D Printing Quality has become advanced enough.

Does anyone know if stores are going to open at midnight to start selling the new Star Wars stuff?
