Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

I'm sure if you just called them they would gladly ship you the ship you ordered promptly. Mistakes do happen and you probably won't even need to return the Doctor figure.

(or you could send it to me. ;) Frankly, if I had discovered the Doctor Who line before the Starship line, I might have gone that route)

Yeah I was happy to see the TOS 1701 back in stock too, ordered it as soon as I saw it and got it in exactly a week. Very nice model.

Eaglemoss do seem to restock eventually. I waited until the NCC-1701 (issue 50) became available again for £9.99. Otherwise, I'd have had to pay more than £30 on Amazon or eBay.

But that is a very recent issue - the Enterprise E was released all the way back in 2013.

Would that I could even get through to them via telephone...it was impossible. I did take it up with them through email and they refunded me, but I don't really want to use them for anything else. It took weeks for them to even deliver the wrong thing. I was not impressed.

MonstersinMotion.com and Amazon.com also have Eaglemoss ships- that is where I bought my Akira. Prices are fairly good but the selection is not as broad as eBay.

The only problem being I live in the UK. The currency conversion might be good, but the postage would be hefty.

I was trying to quote a couple of posts, but seem to have problems doing that. If you have any comic/collectible stores in your area, they can sometimes do a special order for you and give you a better price than ebay. I, for one, won't have anything to do with Amazon after a recent article I read.

I actually ended up with 2 Borg Cubes because of their left-hand-not-knowing-what-right-hand-does system of customer service. So I'm not complaining. :p

I managed to get through by telephone to Eaglemoss customer service On Friday, and all they could say is that they have back copies on order for #21, but no specific date. The next couple of months... Mind you, they said that in email regarding the Enterprise NX-01 issue back in March that they had back copies on order, and that remains out of stock on their website (as was the Enterprise E back then - surely 5 months is long enough for them to get the more popular ships restocked?). I'm a patient man, but in any case, with waiting as long as I might be willing to wait, I may as well not bother at all in getting some of the models.

I can relate. Ordered and paid for a replacement defiant over a year ago now.. (little man was allowed to play with it as they are his essentially anyway. You should see his much loved voyager...) but though they have promised to send one as soon as, especially as it was showing in stock and inpaid for it alongside the replacement voyager which did arrive, its not here, even though shes only recently come out in germany.
They are very froendly and good at replacing damaged stuff (as in stuff that arrived damaged) but am a bit disheartened as theres now a hole in the collection for us.

Bloomin' 'eck, and that's only £5.02 more than all of them separately. Of course, free delivery, so we could say part of the £5.02 is the £2.99 for just one of any of those three. A bigger booklet, also, so more details and art. But should I risk it...?

I'd bet anyone a cookie that booklet is literally just the 3 issues as is stapled together.

^What's that got to do with this collection? It's twice the size almost, and 6x the price of the Eaglemoss ships. Plus the dimensions of that are a little cartoony for an X-wing.

Just got a shipping notification… From UPS. Is this the first month but they're using UPS, or did I miss something the last few months?
