They already have a costume today, so Talaxian, Racing, Reman or Intelligence costumes are probably out of the question now.

Ships wise I still dont have teh T1 b`Rotlh Bird of Prey, The T3 Constellation Refit (this one would be nice with teh picard Maneuver console), The T3 Excelsior, T3 Nebula, nealry all T3 and T4 Klingon and Romulan ships, and quite a few T5 ships of all factions. I think they will give away a nice t5 ship without batting an eye this year since no one will buy them anymore soon anyway, if not already.

Nice, that's finally a usable item out of a giveaway! I log in (at least briefly) every day anyway to rotate the R&D assignments, so will remember to snag my spec points when I do it later.

Think i'm one category away from maxing out my main character on R&D at this point, just grinding away the 20-hour assignments. Nothing in particular to need to craft, but just takes a couple clicks a day.

Also when I was on before some thought that trekbbs used dial modems and such, as the player found it funny that there was a trek BBS. Probably never heard of the site before.

I have to say, "Butterfly" is one of the best missions I've played so far. I loved the sad husband and wife story.

Lag was probably becaus of pretty much everyone constantly logging in and out again to claim the give away on each toon.

I have to say, "Butterfly" is one of the best missions I've played so far. I loved the sad husband and wife story.

Pteal theorized yesterday that the wife looked like she belonged to the race of sphere builders from Enterprise.
After checking for myself I agree with that.
Seems like a pretty big piece of foreshadowing.

Its not a theory, the wife looks exactly like the sphere builders. I was going to post something tumorboy and two other sto devs posted on reddit that basically confirmed it, but he deleted his own post! The sneaky bastard!

Spoiler: Butterfly

The basic gist is that the actions we took in "Butterfly" didn't cause the sphere builders to be erased from time as we were lead to believe. Its likely that they are now trapped in a transdimensional space and are now attempting to erase the current timeline so that they can return to normal space. It means that we, the players who played Butterfly, started the Temporal Cold War in Enterprise.

I wonder if they are the "canon" enemy that hadn't appeared in-game yet that they mentioned at STLV?

Toda's give away is 2 free ship slots, those can only be claimed on a single character, though, unlike the the spec points. So choose wisely.

And I dismissed the Nandi yesterday due to lack of slots

Not really complaining, though, because I wouldn't fly it on this toon anyway, and he can use one of those slots for T6 T'Varo when it comes out

Found out on STO FB group - that there is an email going around for people who haven't played the game in a while, that they get a free T6 ship and spec points. Saw a few people on reddit have claimed it.

I got the nandi on a couple of my toons, now are all inactive, as I brought the T6 battlecruiser bundle a few days ago.

Found out on STO FB group - that there is an email going around for people who haven't played the game in a while, that they get a free T6 ship and spec points. Saw a few people on reddit have claimed it.

Yup a T6 Galaxy/Andromeda and enough XP to instantly level their highest toon to 60.

This is only true for veteran players who haven't logged in in a while, obviously before the level cap raise and T6 ships.

Since this isn't true for most of us, playing regularly still, most likely having all at least one level 60 character anyway and at least one T6 ship we are out of luck.
Owning the Andromeda anyway.

But you can reclaim the nandi whenever you like on every toon anyway.

That's what I though, although I wasn't sure it applied to event ships. But thanks for confirmation

There is someone on STO forum, who has been quite active and also received it, and claimed the ship. So this "inactive" thing didn't exactly work out, if that was PWE's intention.
