Under the Dome - Season 3 thread

Did anyone else notice that the solution in the last episode was from a TOS episode? Kirk (Julia & Team) forces Spock and his crew (the people of Chester's Mill) to feel intense emotion to free them from alien spores (alien control).

Haven't bothered to watch this season but if the world is going to be destroyed then I will check it out.

And bring popcorn...

Am I the only one thinking that maybe the world ending is a mirage by whatever Marg Helgenberger is?

I didn't see it buy the aliens wanted a group to do whatever they wanted & the Domers seem prime.

Starscream, they needed to give Julia & Big Jim a reason to fight. If the outside world is gone, what is the point of going to war?

Am I the only one thinking that maybe the world ending is a mirage by whatever Marg Helgenberger is?

I have to give you props there. You predicted this straight!:techman:

Yes, and what a load of crap it was! Making everyone think the world had ended to "bring us together"? That's just... stoopid.

If they are all infected with alien consciousnesses, why do they care if the world ends? Is it to kill the last bit of humanity in them?

Being that it's a summer show, I think as long as someone is watching it, it will get renewed.

Junior selecting a "mate" felt like something out of a Charles Manson biopic.

Was I the only one screaming for Julia to shoot Barbie already? If the power of her kiss, after being together for three weeks, cures him. I will scream at my TV.

You're forgetting the year he spent mourning Julia in that dream.

Barbie has been in love with Julia for a year longer than she has, and death saintifies a departed loved one most of the time.

Julia on the other hand is a class A rube.

So in a show of some brutal actors, how bad does the girl playing Ava's nursemaid have to be to stand out?

I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Even with a more coherent, but still meandering, plot this year, it had suffered from the moment they decided that Eddie Cahill, Karla Crome and the gangster fight club woman and her crony could just pop up from nowhere and be like "we've been here for a week too, but have not been worth a peep about!"

I'd love to see how they crash this into the runway come September 10th.

I wonder if they have any time to bring it to some conclusion and not end on a cliffhanger. Given that the final episode was probably shot some time ago, I hope the execs/writers knew this was coming a head of time in order to fashion a decent send off. I hate cliffhanger final episodes.....
