Under the Dome - Season 3 thread

They said the dome was coming down in the article. I'm sure the producers saw the writing on the wall after barley getting renewed last season and wrote this season so its final. Maybe they filmed a couple alternate scenes just in case it got renewed.

The show starts tomorrow in Germany.

I should reread the novel, that should be more interesting.

I will watch this season, although I fear that there will be no real finale.

Comicon was over a month ago, but because some one just released the panels in HQ format to the usual places, I went to Youtube to find the same thing in sd format (1/4 the size.) that would download ten times faster.

Which is when I started laughing.

I am a cruel bugger.

I haven't watched it yet, because it's right the #### at the bottom of my list of things to watch, but this is a panel of persons talking about the bright future of Under the Dome ignorant that it is two weeks before the cancellation of Under the Dome.

This is the very definition of Schadenfreude.

Oh, what a crap. Why do I still watching it?

I really liked Kings novel.

But this is an never-ending nightmare.

Unless you are talking about reruns, this is a certainly and definitively ending nightmare.

Cancelled.

Next week is the final gawd damned instalment.

I'm not surprised that the show is ending this season. Ratings are down of course but this whole season has felt like a final season of a show. Lots of answers (dumb as they are) and they seemed to be running out of story.

I like seeing the dome come down. So they had some set up for another season if it was not canceled. Looks like the resistance members would have tried to stop Dawn creating another dome (in another part of the U.S.) only to be trapped in that one with all new towns people, and here we go again..

A better ending would have been a year later we see the Dome alien's enemies come to invade Earth (since Christine said they were coming) and the resistance members realizing that a made a big mistake stopping the kinship etc.. and just end with that.

The end was just as good as the rest of the show.

:shifty:

So do you think Joe was still under the influence of the kinship at the end there?

I'm a little late and I guess it has been discussed before: Under the Dome quotes Star Trek: The needs of the Many....... Mr. Spock has left quite an impression with Big Jim - the wrong Big Jim, if you will forgive my saying so.

Finally saw the last season and now feel comelled to ask: Why the shift to adapting the Tommyknockers, of all Kings books?

Another question is: Why did they think they were getting another season?

When you pander to the lowest common denominator, you expect that sacrifice to pay off because it hurts.

It hurts to write down to stupid people.

If pain doesn't equal gain, then why are you doing this to yourself?
