Actually, if it's the main mass of the galaxy, as it appears, then it really wouldn't look much closer even at those speeds unless it really was a 10-hr clip.

Yeah, it's the Milky Way. It also doesn't move because that would ruin the loop, and I want people to be able to download it and let it run forever.
