Cool. I don't think I've actually seen the Kirk in person, just the other figures from his wave assortment. Although if I did I've since forgotten.

If only Hasbro's figures of Princess Leia could look even half that good at Hasbro retail prices. Hasbro can do amazing facial and head sculpt work at times but for some reason they have a lot of trouble with the likenesses of both Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill and that's been going on for about twenty years.

The event doesn't start until tomorrow, but some pics of the display are already out. Here's one with people right next to it to give you a sense of of how big the piece of junk truly is:

Some pics of Hot Toys' Star Wars and Marvel displays at Ani-Com and Games Hong Kong, including a look inside the lounge area of the Falcon, recreating that scene from ANH: link

The Marvel display features Quicksilver (Avengers version), Drax, Ant-Man, Yellowjacket and Nick Fury, among others.

I have two boxes of toy action figures from the 1990's I would be willing to part with. Pretty sure there is at least one full set in there. .

I have a photo but not sure how to post it in here ..

I'm house-sitting for my sister. She and her husband are big on boats (he grew up in Point Pleasant, NJ), so she got him this model for his birthday one year. I just realized it was Clintasha sized! So here is their new adventure...

    Sailing away!

Art Asylum's Constable Odo, bought at Wonko's to replace one I lost a couple of years ago

The Penguin and Sickle, Batman: Arkham City, bought it at Austin Books & Comics

Ra's Al Ghul and Talia Al Ghul from Batman: Arkham City, bought 'em at the Sidekick Store

And not exactly an action figure, but my friend Esther brought be a gift when we had lunch today.

Is anyone else getting a serious feeling of déjà vu? ;)

Seriously though, that site is really late to the party with those pics. I can only guess they don't have much staff.

And let's be honest, not much new product has been revealed thanks to the continuing lid that both Disney and Lucasfilm still have over many details of the new film and its licensed merchandise.

I've got that Ra's Al Ghul and Thalia. Ra's is great, but Talia has some stability issues. She's a chronic shelf diver.

There's a "Profit and Lace" joke somewhere in here and I for one am not going to go looking for it. :)
