That God-awful ST50 logo...

Get thee to a T-shirt printing shop/website. There are plenty that would print a shirt for you. I'm quite happy to make a large scale copy of the image available to anyone who wants it. All donations to my nearest charity run animal sanctuary are welcome.
They're probably not going to print someone else's copyrighted material, logos or images.

I'm not sure how scrupulous a site like cafepress is about such things. If you upload your design, print off a few copies for your own use, and then delete the file, that might be okay.

Yeah, they'll print pretty much anything you want, as long as you pay them.

The love for STAR TREK on display in this thread is incredible ...
and undeniable!

Totally! It's amazing and inspiring isn't it! :techman:

If there are ever problems with this, just take it to a local printing shop. There's one near me where I just took in like a $5 plain white tshirt from target and the image on a usb stick. A few hours later it was ready.

I've always been especially fond of threads that allowed fans to post in a different way than just stating opinions, all the time. The Art threads are a little harder for me to get into, though, because they're often about starship designs, which I'm relatively indifferent about. But I do feel kind of bad for people who'd like to participate, but don't have art programs, or know how to use them. Because it is a nice change of pace ...

You could always try and find an old copy of Star Trek:Starship Creator on CD ROM or *cough* TPB, design a ship using the available myriad of mix and match parts, and post a screenshot here.

We can all have a chuckle at each other's designs while saying "that will never fly!"

As an Artist, I'm expected to render many things in Life and in the imagination. But I have to confess that vehicles and certain other highly technical renderings are a hell of a challenge for me. I have to arrive at it, so I do not draw them for "fun." But keep the ideas and encouragement coming Admiral Bear, for those who take to drafting with much greater ease and confidence than I ...

Yeah, your typical small mom-and-pop print shop will print a few T-shirts for you without asking questions. I know -- I've worked for some of them.

This looks great.

I don't see anything wrong with it at all.
me too

The delta isn't the right shape. That's what lewisniven is getting at here. They've warped the sides of it outwards to fit the "50" into the shape.

I agree that once you actually notice it's the wrong shape, it's incredibly hard to un-notice it. :brickwall:
says you

Didn't notice before, don't mind now that I see it
me too

lmao

:lol:That's epic
Yes it was

Agreed. You have space in the background, the gold color is appropriately majestic, and the slightly greater thickness of the stylization which lends it a bit more gravitas and solidity IMO. I just really like the bold relief that the whole package conveys.:techman:

Too soon?
I think so, if the new movie is any indication.

I have pens that have outlived an Enterprise. It's not worth getting emotionally attached.

Well that and they're a lump of shaped metal to begin with.
There's something about machines, though. The Enterprise is a character herself (watch as I anthropomorphize it!). My favorite Enterprise is still the classic movie Enterprise, but yeah, she started the whole blown up in a movie thing, so it's her fault!
