Replica Kirk reading glasses

TK Doom

Ensign
Newbie
Hi all, long time lurker, longer time fan...so I just finished watching Star Trek II and remembered that my eyesight needs help.

Recently started to sort of need reading glasses.

In my youth, I told myself I wanted glasses like those in ST II. Now obviously those are 18century (19th?) antiques, but you'd think they made a replica at a Trek worthy gouged price, but I can't find them.

Do they exist?

TIA!

What fun is that?
Then go with the optician suggestion. You may not find frames that are an exact match, but they'll likely be less expensive than any licensed replicas, which you'd likely have to have fitted with corrective lenses anyway. Been wearing glasses since I was 10, so it's hard to be enthusiastic about them after 50 years. ;)

Prop replicas of this kind are too "upscale" for STAR TREK to officially license. Souvenier-type items are more up CBS/Paramount's alley, like a cookie jar in the shape of Mister Spock, a pizza cutter in the shape of the Enterprise, or dollar $tore 'calogne' with high-end prices named after Sulu, Shirtless Kirk ... and Pon Farr. Didn't Benjamin Franklin wear the types of glasses Kirk uses? Maybe Revolutionary War re-enactment sites might be worth a try?
