Don't do a photo shoot in a junk car

This is such an important public service warning. I was almost ready to do this. I had the cosplay all set, FURY ROAD ftw.

Thank you, thank you for saving me.

I was gonna do cosplay too. Hot schoolgirl in a hot rod but I stopped..

Seriously I don't think they had permission to even use that car let alone the fumes. Wouldn't you smell the petrol fumes?

Just because you can smell petrol doesn't mean it is going to explode.

"Employees at the junkyard said the victims had permission to be there for the photo shoot."

Someone may get sued.

Quite possibly. Sill however small the risk I'd never have tried that. It's just not worth it.

You're right, it would be totally better to do it with the perfectly good looking FAKE battery candles you can buy these days, you can even bury them in waxy drippy gothic fat candles and no one will know they are fake. All it takes is planning.

Glow sticks are the only really safe light source near fumes.

Older folks like myself, we have to pull ourselves out of our cars, grounding ourselves in the process. Useful when pumping gas, say.

Young folks just pop out of cars, slide around, and make a lot of static (in more ways than one).

Something to think about the next time you are in a service station.

In an unrelated note. I worry about Musk's new home batteries.

After a storm linemen can at least hear generators directly hooked up to a homes electrical system (DON'T). They have to be on the look out or get electrocuted.

I wonder, with the energy density and quiet of Musk's new system--that not only will linemen get zapped--but homes could explode.

Always be careful with home electronics and generators, as the latter creates "dirty power" that can destroy the former
