Yeah, the box shows a whole little line of Hanna-Barbara related toys from Flintstones to Jetsons to Captain Caveman and so on. I saw a couple of them at Toys R. Us back in 2012 but were a bit more expensive back then. Got them both for $7.99. I hope they have some more Flintstones characters to fill up my cave coup.

Anyone know an approximate date? The Forbidden Planet website says July, but from waiting for the Game of Thrones phase 2 figues I never trust their dates.

Hopefully this isn't a "sexed up" prototype intended to whet collectors' appetites and the final retail version will actually look this good. After years of experience with Hasbro promotional images and convention/toy fair display copies of figures you learn to wait for the final retail product before you know if it'll be this awesome or not.
I received some items for my doll collection this week. I need to dress dolls and take pictures.
A couple of collectors have just found Wave 8 of the 6" Black Series line (Emperor Palpatine, Luke in Stormtrooper Disguise, Clone Trooper Captain and a carry-forward of the Stormtrooper Han from Wave 7) at brick-and-mortar retail.
So far I haven't seen any characters past Wave 7 and those two figures were at my friend's local toy shop.

A few more people are finding Wave 7 of the 3.75" Black Series line, mostly at Toys "R" Us since Target at best seems to get just one or a few random figures at a time and they're not always the newest ones. Keep your eyes peeled if you want these, and hopefully you can score them at a store that still charges just $9.99 for a Black Series figure and has yet to implement a price hike on the 3.75" line.
I haven't done a Shelf Avengers thing in a while, but here's a little thing I did tonight. This truck is actually a birdfeeder, and it will be used as such after I'm done using it as a prop.

I got another chance to see the TRU-exclusive two-pack of figures containing the Scarlett Johannson Black Widow. It's nice to know that at least one 3.75"-scale Scarlett Johannson toy is being sold in stores, even if she's a repack and a repaint of her figure from the first movie.
