The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

Cool scores and photos, guys! I myself just found and picked up the new Black Series (3.75") Wave 7 Darth Vader (Dagobah Test) and Chewbacca figures at my local Target. They also had the new repack of the Imperial Navy Commander from The Vintage Collection (originally released in 2012) but I passed on that figure and left him on the pegs for somebody else to find and enjoy.

received my first Myth Cloth today. this is Sagittarius Seiya from Saint Seiya Omega. this is one of those toys that, when you put it together, you are very afraid of breaking something. thankfully, nothing broke. the figure is a combination of plastic and die cast metal. i love it. the somewhat high cost will keep me from getting more (though i have another on the way).

The second season really suffered from having to animate these more complex designs while having the same budget and schedule crunch (that and having most of the first season arcs being aborted due to the writer switch).

i wasn't crazy about the second season. most of the Omega characters were pushed aside when the original Bronze Saints came back.

All 48 currently released Amiibos are mine!

I think I might have a tiny obsession.

Which specific ones are you talking about? Target's had a lot of different Hasbro Star Wars exclusives over the years.

Oh, okay, gotcha now. Those are actually sold at multiple big box retail chains and not just at Target. Toys "R" Us and Walmart also carry all six Digital Release Commemorative multipacks, although it appears you haven't yet spotted them there.

The Episode I and Episode VI sets are my favorites by far.

For what they are they're a pretty good deal. Four figures for $20, even if they have limited articulation. Just one 5-POA Rebels/Saga Legends figure packaged and sold by itself can run anywhere from $5.99 to $9.99 depending on which store chain you're at.

The first images of packaging for the 6" First Order Stormtrooper from The Force Awakens, possibly an exclusive box design to be displayed and sold at San Diego Comic-Con later this summer. I like it and while it has that feel of "Comic-Con exclusive" to it I wouldn't mind seeing this particular 6-inch packaging design sold in brick-and-mortar retail stores.

I saw the Hawkeye Pop! figure from Age of Ultron at one of my local GameStop stores. Do you have that version?

GameStop gets exclusives or collectibles that few other retailers bother to carry, and right now they have an assortment of four Star Wars figures from the Pop! line that nobody else in my area seems to carry.

I hope that's packaging for an exclusive. I always prefer to be able to compare paint apps if I'm buying in store.
