Eugenics Wars.

Amazon.de had a typo in the Khan novels titles:

Der Aufstieg und Fall das Khan.... instead of des Khan.

Someone has complained about it in the Cross Cult forum, it wasn´t me this time :D. Amazon has corrected it. German is not an easy language after all, especially not for the Germans :D  It´s simpler in English ..... of Khan..... :)

I have posted a lot of Khan nonsense and the new German covers, but I don't think that I've posted the posters.
It's not the Brinkmanship cover, but the "The Fall - Der karminrote Schatten" cover which is different from the original.

Vol. 1 is now available in Cross Cults Onlineshop. No sign of Khan in other online shops (Amazon etc.), not to mention in book stores. It's likely that the Khan novels will never be found in some book stores, at least not in small towns like the one I live.
I ordered it now at the German publisher. Tomorrow there will be the first delighted Khan cries in the Cross Cult forum.
Hopefully I have my copy on Friday.

Enjoy!

Thanks.

Khan is available, but they don't ship it yet. No explanation. Maybe sales staff is ill or on vacation. It might take one or two weeks.....:sigh::shrug::brickwall:

I'm not a fan of the German covers for the Eugenics books. To me they strike me as something like some of those old posters you see in history books that Hitler's government had made up in the 1930's and 40's to encourage the youth to join the Hitler youth movement.

Well, the books are about a dictator, with a Master Race philosophy, rising to power . . . and then being overthrown.

Doesn't seem entirely inappropriate. :)

I'm disappointed. My Khan novel is still stuck somewhere and hasn't arrived yet due to the postal strike. It is already paid and yet `lost through sheer negligence´/misplaced.

Maybe I get my money back. Everyone else on the Cross Cult already has his/her Khan 1 novel. If I get my money back I will order Vol. 1 and 2 in the local book store.

Very frustrating. Nothing to enjoy. :brickwall: :sigh:

My Khan novel has finally arrived. Woohoo :techman:

^Good for you. Actually refrained from posting that I had seen it "in the wild" (Dortmund Main Train station) on Wednesday to not aggravate you further. :rommie:

And there was much rejoicing!

And there was much rejoicing!

Most of the members of the Cross Cult had their Khan novels already.

Someone there in the forum has received a parcel with damaged content after a long wait (obviously a Space Station DS9: shamed be he who thinks evil of it, DS9 was indeed destroyed after all), so I suppose I came off well.

About 600 German pages are lying ahead of me.... :)

More than 200 pages into Vol. 1 it, I'm wondering what the Borg would think of these perfect children at the Chrysalis Project. Even Gary Seven thought of the Borg, so this isn't very far fetched.

And people with a 50 % enhanced lung volume.... An enhanced swimmer would make Michael Phelps look like a snail. Usain Bolt's world records would be smashed and for mere mortals unreachable.
Putting together a 500 piece puzzle with closed eyes by a three year old child is khansinn - ehm madness. ;)

Not to mention the arrogance of superior people in general. It's exciting and hard for me to put the book aside :)
