Hard to believe, almost, that Star Trek: First Contact is almost 20 years old.
The 80's were better, it had parachute pants.
^ And better music as well.
I remember well going to my first Duran Duran concert.

I won't argue with that. The '80s had the best music of my lifetime, at least in terms of how personally enjoyable and memorable it was and still is.
It's all about how old you were. I suspect most people consider the best music decade to be the one that happened when they were teenagers.
For me that specific timeframe would be the late '80s through the early '90s.
Why did I have an image of Kor smiling when you said that?
And for me, it would be 1983-1989. Ages 13-19.
I don't know if I agree that the best music for a person was when they were teenagers though. I liked alot of 80's music, but hated alot of it too. Same with 90s music. I even like some music from now although I admit that grudgingly.
My favorite band of all time - The Beatles - were almost exclusively a 1960s band and broke up more than four years before I was born, so yeah. I don't think the '80s has the best pop and rock music of all time but it has a lot of great music and on balance it's the most fun decade for me to listen to.
