Scientists Create Cheese from Human Bacteria

I'd sooner eat those Kraft plastic cheese slices, and that's saying something. An interesting concept, though.

Why do you hate science?

Not specifically in defense of Fonzob1 (I don't know him), but how do you figure he hates science? Granted, this particular case is disgusting. Some people have weird fascinations. Perhaps your ire should be directed at the researchers who made this stuff.

Did you really not realize that my post was a joking reply to macloudt's post? Because she said she wouldn't eat the stuff.

Having to explain jokes really sucks.

Interesting stuff

But why wouldn't someone eat it? It's not as if it's cheese made of actual people

Anything that reminds us that microbes are not some terrifying evil that must be purged at all times is a good thing. Reminds me of that "Mythbusters" episode where they tested the double dip theory and they had to use sterilised Doritos and a tasteless substitute dip because the real things were both already swarming with bacteria thus making the test impossible

Having to explain jokes really sucks.

Doesn't it though

Because it tastes like someone's body odor.

Nah, it's just normal cheese (but cultivated using microbes found on people, that's all). The woman said it smells like feet, but that's because, you know, it's cheese (and I suspect she was told to say that because it was good for the whole "cheese made using human microbes" angle)

In many ways, it's the Rocky IV of cheeses

I would try it, but only if it's from the armpit of a person of my choosing.

So, you wouldn't eat Mila Kunis' toe cheese?

I'm a little skeptical about the taste. Rocky IV kicks ass as always though.

You could have at least quoted macloudt. Then us lesser beings wouldn't get as confused.

I actually do eat the individually wrapped cheese slices. They're not the best example of cheese, but American Cheese isn't the most flavorful cheese anyway.

And I always thought it was toe jam.

I drank the beer that Rogue made out of the brewer's beard yeast, and it was absolutely delicious.

I'd try it.
