...it hit me that I should take a few snaps of the emerging spring.

Then I found that there hadn't been much of an emerging of the spring in these parts... nothing much to show anyway...

    But I found this:

Here is the last of the snow. Hopefully it will be melted by tomorrow, then we can consider winter over.

My little nephew is doing a correspondence project for his kindergarten class. He mailed me a paper doll called Flat Stanley who is going to live with me for a month and write letters. I'm supposed to include photos, and I may be having more fun with this than my five year old nephew. The pictures aren't great art, but they're damn cute so I thought I'd share. My first set is going to be about traveling on the subway:

    So cute!

"Flat Stanley" was one of my favorite childhood books, btw.

^I had never heard of it before this project. It does sound a bit grim. ;)

Aww, that's a pretty cool idea.

Although, I have a Facebook album for one of my little figurines traveling around so maybe that's just normal for me lol.

I not only love the Flat Stanley concept and what tsq is doing with it, but I love her outfit in those photos and the awesome AC/DC shirt under the blue coat. There's nothing about these photos that isn't cool. :)

    Beautiful!

Adorable pic! I need to show up here more often, 'cause when I don't, you guys just leave me behind. :( ;)

Ancient Mariner, your NYC shot is gorgeous, as usual.

And I love the Flat Stanley series, TSQ.
