Worf's Adopted son

in the series there was an episode where Worf adopted a kid what happened to that kid?

did he share Worf's dishonour did he ever meet Alexander?

should there be a buddy cop tv series where the two solve Klingon crimes while getting to know each other? :klingon:

He went back in time and landed in Old Detroit where he became a foul-mouthed drug dealer, and got blown away for his troubles.

If you look closely during one of the saucer separations you can see him flying away into space.

Seriously though, you'd think he'd have some sort of important relationship with that kid after those events. But according to memory alpha Moore wasn't a fan of the actor who played him.

Did Worf literally adopted him -legally and all of that- or just take on a fatherly role in spirit?

I barely remember this. I thought they became more like brothers?

Worf organized a Klingon birthday party for him.

He was hit with the pain sticks once and then ran away crying, and he was then adopted by some ensign who was friends with his mother.

he's in one of the genesis wave books, the 4th one I think

if you have some time to kill they're not horrible books, but I wouldn't give them a strong recommendation either

Yes they became somewhat like brothers. They preformed a ritual together to honour their deceased mothers (Worf's Klingon one I presume since Helena was still alive and kicking)
It seemed all very informal and unofficial. Klingons seem to have this thing where they like to throw around relationship terms for things humans would not like Deanna becoming Worf's "step-sister" when in human terms she'd be Alexanders godmother or, in German, "godaunt".

On what happened to him: according to the episode he was sent to live with relatives on Earth.

A lot of things in TNG would have needed a follow-up, that's the problem with the episodic format.

If he shows up in the Expanded Universe, good for that, do those novels say anything more about his relationship to Worf?

She was probably an honorary member of the House of Mogh (at least until the credits rolled).

Would that mean the House of Mogh married into the House of Riker a decade or so later?

he treats Worf as a father and Alexander as a brother. I think he's in starfleet but he was serving on a Klingon ship

That's cool. For stuff like that the Novel Verse is quite useful. It helps that they are freed of things like budgets and actor availability.

He also appeared quickly in Diplomatic Implausibilty, right before Worf assumed the Role of Ambassador. It was a quick appearance though.

I am enjoying the DS9Continuation novels. (will get to the TNG ones as well, read a few TNG novels too) But I LOVE how the authors bring back guest stars rather then always introducing new characters to fill the roles.

Aster was great to see. :)
