Trying to find an episode/dvds

Bluray is better, not just for picture quality but you can switch between the original FX and newer CG ones.

Which is great, but I just wish there was some way to prevent my BR player from popping up the "alternate angle" icon on every single FX scene...
I had that issue with JVC players, so I switched to Pioneer, which gives you the option to disable that icon.

Well, here's the original teaser:

Sony blu ray players don't seem to do this pop-up thing.

Personally, I quite enjoy the series on blu ray. Though it is easy to tell that the new visuals are computer-generated rather than practical effects, I think that for the most part they blend in nicely, and look good on an HD TV.

I've decided to watch it as it originally aired. Feels more authentic that way.
