Trying to find an episode/dvds

I want to watch one more random episode before buying season one. I saw a clip of it on YouTube a while back. Where Kirk goes insane on the bridge so Spock takes him out into the hallway to try to calm him down. It looks interesting. Which episode is it?

Also which is better: blu ray or original dvds?

That's the one! Thanks I'm not using that episode in order to make my decision about the dvds, I just like episodes where characters go nuts. Makes things more interesting.

Which is great, but I just wish there was some way to prevent my BR player from popping up the "alternate angle" icon on every single FX scene...

Some people have had issues with the 'alternate angle' icon coming up during scenes with the new effects. I saw the issue on my Magnavox player from 2009, but it quit doing it one day. I don't know what I did to do it. Never had the issue with either my PS3 or PS4.

If you're into episodes in which characters go nuts, and it was Season 1 that you ordered, then look forward to "The Enemy Within" and "The Naked Time", both early in the season.

One of the random episodes I've watched was Amok Time. Kind of felt bad for Kirk: I don't want to die. But I don't want to kill my best friend. I'm conflicted! Spock really looked like he was going to finish him.
