Who was your favorite Star Trek first officer?

You should give it a shot, from today's perspective it's the easiest to relate to - that's why I enjoy it a lot.
5. Chakotay: He's overshadowed by the other VOY characters and that's why I want to rewatch VOY and pay more attention to him. Surely he is more of a person than just being Kathy's lover !?
4. Spock: An intelligent officer and a friend Kirk can rely on.

I voted Spock.
Second favorite would be Riker.
However, T'Pol is the most attractive.
Well, Spock was too talented to be just a first officer. Voting for him is almost pro forma. Indeed, one might argue that Kirk and Picard, when they were at one time better candidates to be the best first officer.
I never warmed to ENT, but I read ENT short stories when they are included in short stories collections.
Despite of being female I prefer Seven of Nine over T´Pol regarding to attractiveness, but that´s not really relevant here
.It was really hard to choose between Kira and Spock, but in the end I have to go with Kira. Probably one of the most realistic, well-written female characters in sci-fi, and for that reason, my personal top Star Trek character. But Spock is a very close second, I just personally can relate to Kira more.
For me, Commander Sonak. He never overstayed his welcome, and he was an excellent joiner.
Sonak is the proof that McCoy is the only sane guy in starfleet for hating transporters.
Overall, Spock. Hands down. But T'Pol looks better naked.
