Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Any US subscribers get an email about shipment of the Pegasus & 22nd Century BoP yet? Eaglemoss charged my Paypal account a few weeks ago and since then I've received nary a peep from them. I'm used to being charged the 3rd week of the month and receiving my ships the following week. I'm just wondering if I should be concerned.

I got a charge on my credit card on Thursday, but no email or shipment yet. I, too, have noticed that things seem to be getting a little lagged and out of order again, but nowhere near as bad as it was in the beginning, charging almost a full month before delivery. I suspect they'll probably show up within the next couple of days. Not worried at all.

Still hoping we may see the shuttles one day, and you can't touch a Borg cube for under $50 on eBay anymore, not including absurdly exorbitant shipping costs.

I have seen an avg of 5 days between billing and the email.

56. Sable Class
57. 23rd Century Romulan Bird of Prey
58. Borg Tactical Cube
59. 29th Century USS relativity
60. S.S. Botany Bay

Hints for 61-70

There will be 3 ships that definitely encountered the Borg; two civilian Federation vessels; one of the smallest and one of the largest ships ever seen in STAR TREK; ships from three different centuries and at least one ship from each series, though one series is only represented because of the movies, technically there’s even something from the animated series (sort of). Oh, and at least one of the ships is something I’ve wanted to do from the very beginning.

Mine has normally been three weeks from charge to delivery. When I started it was right at 4 weeks.

Usually takes more a little more then a week before I get the email of shipment, and then another ten days after that arrives for a delivery.

I hate reading about people who seem to get there is like a week or so...

Okay here are my predictions for issues 61-70

-USS Raven (civie ship and encountered the borg)
-anatares (as the second civie ship and the one ben always wanted)
-An Orion syndicate ship 22nd C (kind of from the TAS)
-Fesarius or Voth city ship (one of the biggest ships)
-one of the timeships from enterprise or Aeon (one of the smallest unless they mean the tiny transport the K'Ehleyr used)
-breen ship (from DS9)
-Merchant-man ship from the movies)
-ships encountering the borg can be a number of ship of the week types from VOY.

Thought on what ships they might be.

Antares is clearly tos/ animated.

That means TNG is covered only by a film (certainly not from Insurrection as they are trying to find anyone who worked on the fx for that film for CGI files). So from Generations, First Contact or Nemesis what fits.

Could be the Phoenix (it was ship that meet the Borg), could be the Shinzon's ship has it is one of the largest vessels. are they still missing one Jeager design from First Contact?

Deep Space Nine: Well only ship that has faced the Borg that hasn't already been made is the Saratoga, are they ready to do Miranda variants already? Federation ships have I think all been previously shown on TNG or films (like the Jenolan from Relics). The Jem'Hadar Battleship is a huge ship Small ships, the Bajorean fighter that Dax and Kira used in Siege is the only small ship that I can recall that hasn't been done on DS9. So unless they do a ship that doesn't fit one of the hints, I think it might be the Jem'Hadar battleship.

Voyager: Could be a small ship like Alice, could be a huge Ship like the Voth City Ship, Kazon large ship or the Really long ship where Harry Kim was addicted to love (Great ship design, but would be a terrible release as it would be pencil thin. Raven is almost assured to be one and fits three descriptions (faced Borg, Federation Ship and Small ship.

Enterprise: Could be Arctic ship from Regeneration (Faced Borg, also smaller ship. Small Ship could certainly be Suliban Cell ship, which is very likely the smallest warp capable ship, with a cloak (Ugh), and particle weapons to boot. Also one of the few major Forces that a ship hasn't been released from, that they currently have CGI files for.

Some ships that shouldn't be used.

one of the clues is that this are from 3 centuries. And that each series is used with 2 qualifiers. One can be considered also from animated show. And one of the series is only represented by film.

If either Captain Bransen's small time ship is used or the Enterprise J then nothing can be from Enterprise's 22nd Century. Now that is possible if Enterprise J is the ship that represents ENT, if not then no time travel ship from the 29th century is being done in this group.

Got the Romulan drone ship last Friday. Unlike in Germany, here in Ireland you really find the magazines lying the shops.

It's a really cool ship and I love that the modelers reuse designs. It's a win-win for everybody - fans get to see more of barely-glimpsed ship designs, and the production saves money.

Anyway, I'm keeping the T'Liss in its box for the moment for fear of breaking off the antenna in the front and the bottom. Nobody outside of Trek knows what this is, so I already used the ship to pull a prank on a friend.

Another thing to try out with my layman-Trekkie friends is to hand them the model and let them guess where's top, bottom, bow and aft.

Heh, as I was catching up on this thread, I received the email they's shipped out 35&36.

Similar thing happened to me too yesterday; however, I actually received my ships earlier in the day. It was kind of weird opening & playing with my new ships and then getting an email stating that they just shipped.

It's strange how huge the Oberth is compared to the other models. Another strange thing is that the model is marked as the Grissom from TSFS and the magazine's story is about the creation of the class during the production, yet the cover model is marked as the Pegasus. I am mildly irritated about this.

It looks like they changed the cover art at the last minute for that issue. If you look inside the back cover of the preceding Bird of Prey magazine, you'll see a different render for the Oberth model set at a different angle. No idea why they would have done this.

Did anyone else receive a cancellation email from Eaglemoss this morning? I didn't cancel. Tried to get them on the phone but I hung up after being on hold for 10 minutes. I'll try again later, but thought I'd check here.

Just talked to someone after 15 minutes on hold--they said there was a note on my account that someone called on February 5 to cancel, which I didn't do, so that's kind of alarming.

I requested a call from a supervisor to see if they can provide any additional information on this.

Damn that IS messed up! Either it's a horrible clerical error or someone is specifically targeting you. And what a positively odd thing way of going about it, too, cancelling a subscription to a Star Trek ships magazine... I honestly hope it's just a simple matter of someone fat-fingering a typo into their database that you were randomly affected by. Either that, or you made an enemy of someone along the way...
