Your First or Greatest Cartoon Crush

^ In that case, I've got to throw in Princess Lisi from Michael Ende's Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer, in the version of the Augsburger Puppenkiste.

Yeah, she was just a kid, but so was I at the time.

In recent years for me is Rapunzel(Tangled).

I loved Rapunzel for going barefoot through the whole movie and wanted to see it in theaters, but I couldn't due to illness (I did see it on DVD, however.) Such a sweet-natured pretty young thing to be looking at on screen.

Another is Eep Crood from this movie:

According to Leonard Maltin's retrospective book "Of Mice and Magic" that discussed the evolution of the American animated theatrical short, finished cels of "Red Hot Riding Hood" intended for photography the next day were stolen right off the camera stand! Really, who knows? The accounts may be apocryphal, but the incident was stated as fact in the book.

Sincerely,

Bill

What about Julia Roberts' Tinkerbell in Hook? That's kinda out there, right? I mean, what with her being six inches tall and everything... and wearing a wig... crazy, yeah?

...

... no? :p

I posted it back but

Arcee

From G1 To Prime: The Evolution Of Arcee

Is it weird coz she is a robot?

:p

:adore:

Not wierd at all.. I kinda had a crush on her.
I remembe getting worried for her.. although she was a robot, I was as worried for her as a I was for the humans on that show.. and I think that, in subtle ways, the writers treated her not as a Transformer who was equal with the others, but as a human.

In "Dark Awakening" Rodimus tells the humans to find cover, and the way it's drawn it looks like Arcee could be included with them.

I remember I was watching that episode with a friend of mine and we both had the same reaction when she was shot in the knee.. we were scared for her. I wouldn't admit it, but my friend turned to me and asked "is she crying?"

I had a similar reaction to her being helpless in Snapdragon's grip in "Rebirth."
