Does anyone know if the shuttles will be models only, like the AGT E-D, or will they have one or more books associated with them?

Yeah I can see it as a test. I think that there have been quite a few comments saying they don't want the shuttles around the web so evaluating demand is probably better. In saying that chances are once people see one region is getting them those not interested before will probably become suddenly interested!

On the page where I ordered, it says the premium subscription is also available in Luxembourg and Austria.

It's not rip just because your country doesn't have it yet. They've been carefully testing the waters in the past already. This is no different.

If we want the shuttles in other regions, we need to take to twitter. They've got an account, it even responded to me when I asked about them. Enough people start bugging them it'll send the message: SHUTTLES, damnit. All they have to do is make them optional, you know? Let us opt-in or opt-out of them and just get it done already. Once we've seen something like that we're going to want it.

Truth be told I'll take to e-Bay to get the Voyager and Defiant ones if I have to.

Perhaps, but if it's by chance not successful and doesn't get a worldwide release, many collections will therefore be incomplete. Seems unfair that those who miss out will have to scrounge around places ebay and Amazon to complete their collection.

Not a subscriber but I hope I get a chance to buy a couple of the shuttles- be on eBay, Amazon or MonstersInMotion...

Ah, I guess that's a good enough reason as any.

As far as I am aware, no one here works for Eaglemoss, so I doubt anyone would actually know, just speculate on why that is. And who says it needs fixing? maybe it's a feature they decided to remove or just not plain update.

The Trek Collective though does have a comprehensive list of what issues are upcoming.

Too bad the Collective stopped reviewing the models in detail. I enjoyed the Galaxy-X comparisons. At least the Titan effort is coming along nicely if slowly.

This is so true. When I first subscribed I was about three months behind, so those reviews were quite timely for me. Once I got up, I still really enjoyed them as it really spotlighted the pulses and the minuses of the collection.

Seriously those are my two favorite shuttles ever in Trek. Though in fairness I have no problem with the shuttles and very much wish they were part of the collection, just as I wish they would seriously change their mind about space stations.

Of course the fact that I want this collection to go way past 100, means I want to keep the options available to all the really cool things in trek and avoid getting to many rehashes or kit bashes the longer the collection goes.

There are easily 15 shuttles I would't mind, and at least 6 0r 7 space stations that I think are worth including.

Dumb newbie question, how does the U.S. subscription work? I noticed on the U.K. and Ireland subscription pages you can select which issue to start from but the U.S. page does not include this choice.

If I were to subscribe obviously they would first send me the Enterprise D, but would i then get issues 2 and 3 the first month, 4 and 5 the next, etc? Or would they start me with where they currently are in the line and I would need to purchase the prior models separately from the subscription?

Both my experiences with subscribing in the US were starting at one and working my way forward. With my first subscription I asked to be sent extra ships to get me got up to the original subscribers, with my more recent second subscription I am doing it at its normal regular pace.

Thank you for the reply. I was really wanting to subscribe but it was never made clear which ships would be sent.

The worst thing that has happened to me is that once they sent me issue 5 & 6 before I got 3 & 4. They then sent me 3 & 4 the next month I never even called them on it. And in one other case I had to wait a while for a ship to be back in stock, but I did get it, just took about twice as long as normal.

The one thing so far that is bad about Eaglemoss is that they will take your money out and if something is unavailable won't let you know about it (or hold charges until it is available). You'll get it eventually, but some people have had to wait months before getting an item. Probably the two biggest examples are Deep Space Nine (which people were charged for) and some waited months to get. And the free All Good Things Enterprise subscription gift (which you aren't charged for) it took about 4 to 6 months longer for everyone in the US to get.

I have heard some terrible stories about contacting them on their Facebook page. But I have ordered duplicates of some ships (before I decided I wanted duplicates of everything so I should just order a 2nd subscription), and I wanted to make some changes (like getting the binders, and getting or not getting the specials) and they have always been helpful.

When I did order my second subscription I did it over the phone to make sure they didn't have an issue with two orders hitting the same card, and to confirm address etc. So I was able to talk to them and let them know what I wanted.

So it probably wouldn't hurt to call them just to hear them say what their normal process is. Never hurts to ask them. Just in case how I got mine isn't standard.
