I think it looks good. Adhering to the Marvel origin movie formula but with perhaps a little more humour.
Cassie Lang dated the Vision, who is Hank Pym's grandson... If they had married, that would make Scott the nephewinlaw of Hank Pym if such a thing existed.
Pym and his son Ultron both married the same robot, so we got some I am my own gampa shit going on here.

No, no, in France you can marry inanimate objects, they just needed physical proxies to stand in for them in France to still be standing tall in the states as Man and toaster, or Toaster and Toaster.

Actually, Cassie dated a version of The Vision (named Jonas) that was an android with the personality of Iron Lad, aka Kang the Conqueror's pre-evil younger self. Not the actual Vision, who's his own person created by Ultron from a mental imprint of Wonder Man. Her boyfriend Vision hasn't been around for awhile (he was destroyed by Iron Lad, ironically enough) but he wasn't The Vision that was created by Ultron, so no relation to Pym.
I found that as a teaser trailer it did it's job. Seeing as how they finished principal photography about 3 weeks ago I think what we got was actually quite good.
We know Pym needs Lang. Lang needs a second chance and he wants it for his little girl more so than for himself(if you take Pym's speech to be specific to Lang). We got a few action shots, the money shot being Ant-Man riding the flying ant which is classic imagery for the character. I'm teased.
I'm glad they took the more "standard" approach with this trailer, the voiceover with some dramatic if static shots that set up the action of the last portion of the trailer. Ant-Man himself, Pym&Lang anyway(see Eric O'Grady as the exception), isn't a character Marvel has played for straight up laughs. They just did the "for laughs" PR rounds with GotG, no need to play that card again so soon. They used a bit of self depreciating with that last line though, "Is it too late to change the name?". Acknowledging that they know he's mocked online, but not anymore so than a space film with a gun toting foul mouthed raccoon and walking tree as bouncer were...and now look where we are.
I expect the first full trailer will detail a bit more about why Pym needs Lang. Why a thief seeking redemption is the right choice and some details on the antagonist, maybe even a Yellowjacket glimpse.

Marvel Studios themselves have said Ant-Man is the last film of Phase 2. You don't get any more authoritative than that. So, yeah, at one point he started Phase 3 but not anymore.
(Let's call him) Teen Vision was constructed from the corpse of the Vision, and when the regular (let's call him) old Vision came back, he was built from the corpse of Teen Vision.
The personalities/software may have been different, but as long as the hardware was comparable to a bloodline, it was still the same guy who's blood red penis made Wiccian and Speed (after a fashion if you squint.).

Really, I thought the best thing about the trailer was Kirk Douglas.
Has there been any hint that we might also see our hero in Giant Man mode?
My money would be on either the villain or Hope Pym using Giant-mode around the film's climax, but I suspect that Scott won't, preferring instead to use his 'small' power set to take down the badguys.
Sort of like how Earth's Mightiest Heroes' Hank actually preferred using his shrinking abilities to outmaneuver opponents as opposed to stomping on them with his supposedly more powerful ability.

Being shot by every one at that size, hundreds of bullets, might feel a little like rolling in a gorse patch.
My preference is to save Giant-Man for an Avengers movie. Spend the whole movie with Tony Stark mocking his ability for making him just smaller. Then, in the end, he grows really big instead.
I thought the trailer was a bit underwhelming. Nowhere near as fun as that 1st Guardians of the Galaxy trailer. But it's ok, I guess.
I was kind of expecting it to shift gears to a more comedic, fun tone after Paul Rudd's "Huh" in the middle of the trailer. Instead, we got more ominous, dark seriousness. Also, surprisingly little "Size-Fu" action. - The Edgar Wright test footage was way cooler in that regard.

If this turns into a trilogy I'd save Giant Man or instead go with an introduction of Bill Foster letting him adapt the Goliath role.

It's sad that he died when he did, even though Bill was barely a footnote, but that's his thing now. If Black Goliath is going to be in a movie, he must die, no matter, and probably because of the public outcry about reducing coloured content in media.
In the movies, I'm guess that they're going to make Stark responsible for Ultron's creation, not Pym which changes how the world views both of these figures, if the robot gets a large enough body count.
