Marvel seems to get better and better lately... :bolian:

give me Star Trek like GOTG, and i will be a HAPPY guy! :)

GotG would be a clear winner, but Dawn of TPOTA is better in terms of SERIOUS Sci-Fi, IMHO... ;)

can't wait for: In-Humans(!) & Dr. Strange & Ant-Man :luvlove:
 
GOTG got nominated for a serious award, from mashable.com.

Leave it to the writers to finally have some fun with the season of all-too-serious awards.
Someone was eventually going to give Guardians of the Galaxy, 2014's top-grossing film in all its goofy, random, spaced-out glory, a serious awards nomination. And that someone was the Writers Guild of America, which honored the Disney/Marvel juggernaut with a nomination for best adapted screenplay on Wednesday.

Actually, as much as I loved GotG, the LAST thing I want Star Trek to do is go down that route.

You mean humor, action. shootouts, fight scenes and a huge ship crashing into a major city? Nah, I can't see that happening in a Star Trek movie either. ;)

Sure some of the surface basics were the same, but the whole style of movie is totally different.
 
Please earth, I am the only one that found this film absolutely terrible? I gave it a D in the polls.
