ok, new round.

I was thinking about new themes and decided on no specific theme this time.

Instead use this opportunity to enter any avatar you wanted to use before but couldn't for whatever reason.

Maybe it was disqualified despite being really cool, or you decided yourself on something else because you thought it didn't match the theme that well, or simply because you can only enter one at a time.

This is a real carte blanche contest, so anything is allowed as long as the standard avatar rules of the board are observed.

Come on, it's the season!

I'll go with something, I don't quite remember the exact theme, but I guess it was about great actors of age, and a condidtion was that it should be a recent picture, kind of a "Where are they now". Something just made me do this in honor of one of my favorite actresses of all time, but ditched it because I was afraid people would find it of poor taste. I don't worry about other people's perception anymore.

I know it was just a cartoon, and I know they were just faces in places of the boobs. Believe me, we think this is just as stupid as you guys do, but we have to be extra careful while we're under scrutiny.

A couple months ago, Google sent a message to Christian, the owner of the board, saying that we were in violation of the AdSense terms of service based on things as innocuous as cleavage in pictures (even if the pics were from aired episodes or movies being discussed) and language/sexual content in fanfic stories. They threatened to cut off our ads if we didn't fix it, which would effectively kill the board.

So we had to go through the forums removing any borderline content that could get us in trouble. They said we were in compliance again. Then recently they said we were not in compliance again. The problem is that even some ancient threads remain indexed on Google, so we can still get in trouble for threads from years ago. But anyway, that's why we have to be really strict about content. It's stupid and puritanical and we don't like it, but it's the only way to keep the board running.

Yeah, that's fine. Their main issue was with images and the content in the fanfic forum. You can still talk normally on the rest of the board.
