Movies you could watch every day and not get bored

Before Sunset? Really? I think Sunrise is one of the best films of the last 25 years, but found the sequel to be just okay. Midnight is much better.

I don't think I could watch any movie immediately after having watched it a first time.
Awhile back, I got rather emphatically recommended to watch the second nuTrek movie. I had an Video On Demand credit from my cable company and the movie was available, so I watched it as many times as I could tolerate it, within 48 hours (since I knew I'd miss stuff the first time around). But I know I will never see it again.

As for movies I have watched often, sometimes more than once in a single day... that would be Contact. I saw it several times in the theatre, and watch it often on TV.

There have been a few books I've promptly re-read immediately after finishing them, and have read many times since. But I can't think of any movie or TV episode (not show, because I do watch General Hospital 5 days a week) I'd watch every single day.

Clue is a good candidate. When it first came out, the only way to see all the endings was to go to three different theatres. :)

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Alien
Excalibur
Full Metal Jacket
Goodfellas
Eyes Wide Shut

Favorite trilogy would be The Godfather movies, but enough is enough because they're all three hours.

Not every day, but frequently. In no particular order:

Iron Man
The Princess Bride
Zorro, The Gay Blade
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Tombstone (overdue for a rewatch)
Serenity
Any of the Trek movies I-VI
Despicable Me

Not movies, but on frequent rotation:

Chuck
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
Firefly
Hall & Oates Rock N Soul Live (ca. 1983)

Heaven Can Wait
The Longest Yard
North Dallas Forty
Major League
Major League II
Major League 3 back to minors
Field of Dreams
Draft Day

As a kid I could watch and rewatch the same movies weekend after weekend. But I couldn't do it now, even with fare that I could back then. I can still get enjoyment outta these movies, but I have to space the amount of time between viewings of them right out in between.

I'd like to say any of the Star Trek/Wars films--but I have to go retro.

Two movies. THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD (Arness)
THE MALTESE FALCON.

The dialog is very fast, it keeps you moving.

I had to watch Falcon two or three times to really "get it."

They have high energy.

Before Sunset? Really? I think Sunrise is one of the best films of the last 25 years, but found the sequel to be just okay. Midnight is much better.

Somehow I quite like this one, I do not know why, even though Before Sunrise and Before Midnight are much stronger. Maybe I can connect easier with that one middle child?

Monty Python is a case where I DID watch it pretty much every week when I was 13 so now I know it way too well to watch it that often.

I think Before Sunset is slightly the strongest of the trilogy though I love all three. (And I was surprised to not be the only one to list them.) Before Sunset built on everything that was established in the first one.

Transformers The Movie (1986 animated movie)
Star Wars: TESB, ROTJ, ROTS
Star Trek II-IV
Star Trek (2009)
Star Trek: Into Darkness
Skyfall
Aliens
Indiana Jones (any of the first 3)
Guardians of the Galaxy
Goodfellas
Batman (1989)
The Pink Panther Strikes Again
Night At The Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian (love the villain!)
The Lego Movie

*Pretty much any movie I start compulsively quoting whenever/wherever

Unfortunately, none, that's why I own hundreds of them to alternate and rewatch and why I see new ones every month.

There are lots of good movies which I can watch many times.

But I have to point out one which I watched yesterday. It's called "Gross Misconduct-The Brian Spencer story" about a Canadian hockey player. As a hockey fan I find it very exciting and also a bit tragic.

I taped it on a VHS tape back in 1994. Unfortunately it seems unavailable on DVD so I have to stick with the tape.

"Alien 1" is the most creepy movie I've ever seen. Also a favorite.

"Star Trek- The Wrath Of Khan" and "Goldfinger are also movies that I've watched many times. The same with "Death Wish #2", "Taken #1" and "Broken Arrow".

Of those already picked for their rewatchability, I totally agree with:

Star Trek The Wrath of Khan (also TVH, TMP, FC)
Galaxy Quest
The Naked Gun
Cloud Atlas
Alien & Aliens
Serenity
Monty Python & The Holy Grail
Kill Bill
Star Wars (Original Trilogy & Revenge of the Sith)
Excalibur
Full Metal Jacket
Goodfellas
The Princess Bride
Serenity
Stand By Me
Silence of the Lambs
Goodfellas
The Godfather (I & II)
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

Of those I haven't seen mentioned yet:

Conan
Gladiator
The Ninth Gate
Unbreakable
The Conjuring
Gandhi
Cry Freedom
Richard III (Ian McKellen cinematic version)
Akira
Master & Commander
Il Divo
American Gangster
Training Day
Man on Fire
No Country for Old Men
Kiss of the Dragon
The One
The Raid (I & II)
Shame
Django Unchained
Inglourious Basterds
Infamous
Doubt
Gangs of New York
Better Luck Tomorrow
Beyond the Valley of the Dolls
Ride With the Devil
Syriana
Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai

... the longer I reflect, the longer that list could get. So I guess I'm not in danger of rewatching any of them too frequently (though I'm definitely a frequent flyer on Django, Gangs, Goodfellas and Excalibur).
