NX-01 caps!

While I may not have the money to pre-order the amazing Anovos Enterprise jumpsuits, I'm all over their away team caps they will be offering! Just gotta measure my melon, and I will be ordering one (or two!)

I think the ones offered when the series started are pretty nice, but I always hated how they added "Enterprise" to the back! Give me series accurate! And it served as just another example of "over-branding" Many Trek apparel items look cool (to me, acknowledged geek) but the brand is self-apparent; you don't have to slap "Star Trek" all over it. A recent example is this Trek branded "running cap". Has the delta shield prominently on front, and the side, and in the three division colors. Why do they have to slap "Star Trek" on the back?!

Okay, irrational rant over. Short story is, love that Enterprise is getting merchandising love!

I feel exactly as you do! I love the shirts that, if you're a fan, you get it, but if you're not, you'd generally not know the reference because the branding isn't so obtrusive.

I just pre-ordered 2 of these caps as well, one for me and one for my sister (though a part of me is debating if I should have gotten 3, an extra JUST in case...)

No, I think I said the same thing on these boards when the jacket was announced! I'm taking the long view on a show that ended nearly ten years ago!

I've been searching for a screen-accurate NX-01 cap for ages! Will definitely buy!

I think it would be the perfect hiking/trekking/adventuring cap, matched with a top like this.
A lot of modern hiking clothes remind me of star-trek type apparel.
