Pixar's "Inside Out" trailer

So, anyway, Pixar has been struggling to get back their pedigree, and the way they do it is by "bragging" about past films at the outset of this trailer.

I've enjoyed a few of their films.. but honestly I never thought all that much of Pixar. That's just me.

Not much a trailer but I'm interested nonetheless. With the exception of Cars 2, Pixar is still doing great in my eyes.

It's a teaser trailer, so it makes sense to not expect a ton of new footage. The use of their old films is clever given the premise (and it isn't just listing films from better days since it included films people use to say that Pixar lost their touch). I don't have enough of an idea what the movie is about, but that's what the full film is for (I did like sadness looking, well, sad at the end).

I've still been enjoying Pixar's stuff the last few years, so I'm looking forward to this. It's from Pete Docter, who directed Monster's Inc. and Up, worked on the stories for the first two Toy Stories and WALL-E, and was a writer on Monster's University, so I'm pretty sure this will be a good one.

AMC's Movie Talk's John Campea is really enthusiastic about the film, but to me, it's very safe.. very boring

When i saw it yesterday i was literally laughing my ass off

I was actually clapping when the trailer was over

Now that is in a nutshell what made Pixar so good.. a unique idea and crazy humor. I'm looking forward to the movie because it's been quite a while since i saw a very good Pixar movie.

The concept looks adorable ( Lewis Black alone makes me want to go), but the plot seems....iffy. Still, I'm interested to see what they do with it.

IGN has an early review up and they loved it. They gave it a 9.5 out of 10, called it a return to form for Pixar, and are saying it should win the animated film Oscar next year.
