Survivor Blood v. Water: Take Two

KEITH. You fucking moron!

I also love how Jon was all proud he played the idol. Hey dipshit. Natalie told you to play the idol at the last second while you were still thinking about how great you are.

As of now I'd love to see Natalie win. Reed was my other choice but he's a goner now.

Natalie looked like a sitting duck at the beginning because of her emotional outbursts, but now she comes out with both the only remaining idol, the majority, swing vote status within the majority, AND the opportunity to walk to the final three next to Missy and Baylor.

I guess it was in her best interest, but I wish Natalie wouldn't have told Jon to play his idol.

Natalie seems to be sitting in a good position, but she still has to rely on the idiots in her alliance and that makes her position more precarious than it should be. I wouldn't be surprised to see Baylor and Missy turn on her.

I fully expect Baylor and Missy to turn on her. I can't stand either of them, and I don't understand why one of them hasn't been voted off yet. People must realize they'll stick together as long as possible. I can't see a situation happening like last time, when the daughter voted her mother off.

Has anyone been watching the Ponderosa videos? It looks like a pretty nice resort.

The ads are saying there will be a stone pick.

This is only possible if somebody makes a really dumb game move.
Is this like the Purple Rock of Doom that resulted in Paschal being voted off even though he wasn't actually one of the people who was part of the tie?

It also happened two seasons ago. I forget who was sent home but I remember Tyson drew a rock and was spared.

I don't disagree with the rocks, it seems better than using previous votes. It discourages ties, so now ties only come up in the case of two absolutely loyal factions or in the case of abject stupidity.

I suppose the rock draw in the ads was a straight up lie. Unless there's a 'Double vote' twist coming up, they vote out Jaclyn, then John jumps to Keith and Alec.

Someone explain to me why Natalie thinks voting out John this week is a good idea. Blindsides only work out for you if they still leave you in the majority.

Yeah, not very bright. And why she wanted Keith (who is good at challenges) instead of Alec is another mystery. Unless she was afraid Alec would team up with Baylor.

It would have made more sense had she just not warned Jon to play his idol the previous tribal council: Jon and the idol would've been gone and she could have aligned with Keith, Alec and Wes to form a majority alliance.

Actually enjoyed this episode through and through for once. Keith at the spa was a hoot and the votes were played incredibly intelligently. Considering how much I couldn't stand Natalie and Nadia on the Race, I'm surprised how likable she's come off on Survivor for the last few weeks.

Always fun to watch a pompous douche discuss the finer points of his final jury speech only to get voted out a few seconds later.

And Jackie girl, surely you coulda found a good looking smart guy. How infuriating it must be to constantly bring up obvious strategy stuff only to be dismissed with "Don't worry, I trust my alliance for I am the chosen one' crap. Good luck scrambling now that they dumped the chump.

Looking like a Natalie/Missy/Baylor final.

I hate to say it, but could Missy possibly be the least terrible player in the game this year?

Only if none of the rest of the challenges involve running, walking, jumping, or standing on tiny blocks of wood. I can't see Missy managing any of those.

Natalie had best use her opportunity to play the idol next time, if she still can.

Right now it could be anybody's game, if luck is with them in the rest of the challenges. Sometimes all it takes is a split second of lost concentration, as when Rudy took his hand off the pole in Season 1.

Don't need no challenges if you've got the majority, at least not unless they go down to 2 again.

I suppose Keith could win out the challenges.

I just had the disturbing realization that this is the first time in history where the most recent Big Brother was better than the most recent Survivor.

Oh well, let's just see how it ends and hope the Spring one is better.

Eh, I don't' think it's been so bad. The locale is beautiful, the challenges are really good both in design and crazy comebacks, there's been some great blindsides and some decent banter. The crop of contestants obviously wasn't so great, but that doesn't make or break the show for me.

I'm super curious as to what the theme for next season is going to be, Probst tweeted that it's going to be pretty good.

Take it with a huge grain of salt, but the rumor I've heard in a couple places is...

- Three tribes.
- All newbies.
- Either Rich vs. Middle Class vs. Poor
or
- White Collar vs. Blue Collar vs. Unemployed

Some kind of economic/class divide. Which I think they've done before in Haves vs. Have Nots, right?
