There are worse ways for a Batman action figure to be taken down than by a Harley Quinn. The new entry was pretty cool. :)

For some reason this guy is popular one ever since it's release. When you have one Link action you pretty much have them all. I was surprise not to see to many of him only two on the peg. I didn't see any at K-Mart or at Toys R Us express. Mostly all Mario and Yoshi figures on the pegs.

No pictures, but Funko officially announced they'll be doing Classic Star Trek ReAction figures this (new) year along with Jaws, Breaking Bad, T2, and other stuff.

Not the biggest fan of ReAction, but I'll probably get Classic Trek figures. Cuz, Star Trek.

Better watch out Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes might steal Black Widow from Hawkeye.

If ReAction made a line of classic TOS action figures (or Trek characters spanning the entire franchise) I'd probably have to pick up every one of them just for the sentimental value, and let's face facts: it's been ages since Star Trek's had many retail toys and collectibles that are worth picking up.

Well, ReAction makes just half a dozen or so action figures from each movie or TV series based on all the different ones I've been seeing at big box retail (Alien, for instance, seems to have just five or six characters and that's it), so if they made the seven main characters from TOS it wouldn't be too expensive to collect them all.

I've been getting the Pulp Fiction figures which they seem to put out only two at a time. Not an incredible strain on the wallet. I don't think the line lives up to its potential, but I do get a small kick out of having toys for an R rated movie about drugs, gangsters, murder, etc. that look like they were designed to be played with by a three year old. My inner three year old longs for tiny plastic mayhem.

Anyway, most ReAction lines seem to be around five figure waves. If TOS gets two waves per the article, then it'll probably be only like ten figures total spaced out over a few months.

Two waves of five TOS figures each could cover the seven main characters, Nurse Chapel (or Sarek or Yeoman Rand, take your pick), a Klingon and a Gorn. That way the main Enterprise crew would be represented plus two or three recognizable aliens.

I imagine a Klingon is a given, a Romulan maybe, the Gorn seems to be the most recognizable or memorable of the monsters. I'd love a Chapel, Rand, Sarek, or even a M'Benga though.

A third wave would let them make, say, Apollo, Bele, Lokai, Khan and even a Garth of Izar.

Marta, Bele, Lokai, Gav, Thelev, Gorn, Talosian, Romulan, Klingon, Medusan,
Sarek, Galt, Shanna, Tamoon, Harry Mudd, Alice android, Ruk, Andrea, Kahn, Pike.

The rest can be done the next year.

If they do TNG, they must do a Holodeck playset, at least the black and yellow grid, but they better be quick because I am planning my own and won't need theirs soon.

Great choices there. I'd forgotten about including Harry Mudd. Not only was he a repeat adversary in the live-action series but also appeared in an episode of TAS in the '70s. Mudd appeared more often than some Enterprise crewmembers and it might be entertaining to see what ReAction could do with him.

The jaunty "Mudd's Women" outfit with hat and big belt buckle? Or the more regal and flashy "I, Mudd" clothes?

It's been a while since I got rid of my dolls, but as I remember, I really liked the Barbie that you could make kiss.

She had a white dress with red hearts on it, and she came with a special red lipstick. You pushed a button in her back to make her lurch forward and kiss.

    Good times. :D :bolian:
