OdoWan it was revealed I believe at NYCC that DC Collectibles is making all versions of the characters. They will come out on a rotating basis. Eventually we are supposed to get "Batman: The Animated Series" and "Justice League" versions. I'm hoping they will do "Batman Beyond" eventually if these do well.
Yeah, I've seen the mockup of the TAS style Batman coming in wave 4. I get not wanting to repeat characters right out of the gate. It's just going to be a little frustrating for a while having some characters in one style and some in another. I think this line will have some legs, though, and we'll eventually get most if not all important characters in both styles. Batman: The Animated Series nostalgia is strong, and that will translate to sales.
That is a terrific line. I like it a lot.
That's been a widespread feeling when it comes to Hasbro and their Star Wars license. They make turds and complete stinkbombs from time to time, but even then you often feel compelled to collect them all.

How is it that Hasbro can make every Star Wars character into a figure of different variants, but yet when it comes to Marvel they don't? I would love to see Teddy, Billy (from Young Avengers) Anole, (X-Men) Shatterstar and Rictor (Peter David's X-Factor) in stores on the peg waiting to get bought. Sure these characters maybe gay I would buy them in a heartbeat. If they are made right in their image and come with accessories I'm sure they would sell.
Gawd I hate bad jobs on action figures too. I might be returning Agent Venom for the same reason.
Day 2 of the Advent Calendar! Black Knight has a Santa hat for Mini Strider. I don't think he likes it, Dane!
I don't know if OdoWan has either the free time or the stamina to make and post another Twelve Days of Christmas countdown featuring his action figures, but if he does it would probably be just as much fun and as epic as last year's.
Another Twelve Days is off the table. I'm not ruling out some holiday themed action figure fun, though. It's just going to be something different this year.
I bought a mini 10th Doctor from Doctor Who figurine for my desk.
Ah! Inspiration has struck me, and I'm writing something special for you guys now. It's not going to be the massive cluster that the 12 Days was, but it's possibly even more ambitious. You'll all see soon enough.
Can't wait! With your sense of humor and talents I'm sure it'll be pretty entertaining and cool.
