^ It seemed from the minisode #8 hadn't taken part in the Time War™ yet, hence the need for a warrior instead of a doctor.
Which seems to be contradictory. The war had been going on, but he didn't fight until after the regeneration.
Speaking of the Time War...does the 12th Doctor still have the Moment? He didn't use it, but did he disable it and leave it on Gallifrey, or did one of the Doctor's take it with him?

Not sure about this but I think I recall there was a scene in the script for Journey's End which explained Davros's origin (ala the Master in Sound of Drums). Basically it would've shown him as a scientist and then the incident which led to his disfigurement. (Although I think the audios have done that as well).

Yep, in fact the script portion containing that scene is copied in The Writer's Tale.
I have the feeling that before the Time Lords meddled in Dalek history that Davros was largely forgotten by the Daleks. It was because of the meddling that Davros gained importance. The Time Lords were working with knowledge gained from Daleks before this point, and wouldn't have known of Davros.
Oh, I can definitely imagine, that later on they went back earlier.I can't believe it's that easy to identify a "first strike" in a time war.
It's like that scene from Curse Of Fatal Death.."but I went back to an even earlier point in time and bribed the architect"
