Here are the 3 I found, and also next to their Remco and fast food counterparts for comparison.

I like a lot of the ReAction throwback figures. I know they're not for everyone and some people consider them ridiculous, but they're missing the point of what these are and why they were made in the first place. Great scores! I like the Alien and Back to the Future figures the most but they're all kinda fun to look at.

As I always say to each his own. I don't mind if they are the 1977-1985 Star Wars vintage line, to which I have a few of those still in the package. I did get Crow, Alien, and Chrome T-800 in Exo-Skeleton form.

Got 2 more today, Creature and Invisible Man. 5 down, 3 to go, then I can think about he variants. I know there are/will be glow Mummy and Creature, and a clear Invisible Man, but are any other variants planned?

I would also like to see the Metaluna Mutant, Hunchback/Igor, Mr. Hyde, and maybe a "victim."

New images of the upcoming "Avengers Infinite Series" wave were released a few days ago. These of course were first revealed at SDCC I believe (it might have also been NYCC) . Pics are of the figures outside and inside their box. If you want to build both King Thor and Odin, unfortunately you will to buy doubles of the figures that come with their body parts.

I will be picking up Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, and Marvel Now Thor. There have been rumblings that these maybe out as soon as next month in time for Christmas (similar to the first wave of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Infinite Series"...but more likely Jan sometime.

So far no word on the Spider-Man line.

Just breaking: the very first boxed image of the upcoming 6" (Deluxe) Wampa and Luke Skywalker set.

I like that they hung Luke upside down in an appropriate manner, but they really should have given the box a photographic backdrop of the Wampa's cave to add some color and excitement to the inside of this packaging. Three Black Series packages have impressive and eye-catching photographic backdrops but the rest don't.

True! It has the best backdrop of any of the existing Black Series packages.

Here's the upcoming 6" Bossk and Han Solo in Stormtrooper Disguise:

Does the Wampa's right arm only have a cut joint at the shoulder? Is that possibly to accommodate a removable arm feature?

Very possibly. The 2004 Saga (Ultra) Wampa figure had a removable right arm that separated at the shoulder joint and that figure still looks amazing almost 11 years later, so for this larger scale and much higer pricepoint I'd hope they include a detailed removable arm feature.

But they can often be entertaining dinner guests:

I am very excited about the new six-inch Black Series stuff coming with the exception of Stormtrooper Han. I am unimpressed with the obvious repack. Speaking as someone who is usually a rigid completest, I don't even feel the need to buy him.

On the other side... I am so excited about Han and Tauntaun I could wet myself.

I hope the Han Solo head sculpt is new if nothing else about this figure is. If they just took the first 6" Han Solo head and tweaked it to fit on the Stormtrooper's neck peg that would be lame. I'm thinking it's a slightly different Harrison Ford head sculpt to reflect his shaggier look when he's inside the Stormtrooper armor, but can't tell for sure.

But yeah, quick and cheap figure for them and guaranteed to sell.

Fun fact: the 6" Bossk's jaw opens and closes!

I am not going to post a picture (a link will have to do) but I broke down and bought the Diamond Select Spock and Horta diorama figure the other day. I had a credit from Amazon that I needed to spend and it was going for a decent price so I went for it. When I first saw images of the line I was not impressed. I already have the entire TOS Diamond Select figure line already. What did I need with another Spock? But now that I have the figure in front of me... wow. The sculpt is fantastic and the paint apps are very nice. I also love the details in the second interchangable Spock "pain" head. It actually looks like Nimoy... in pain! The Horta is also really nicely detailed as well. The figure comes with two tricorders, one with the flap open and the other closed, two sets of Spock legs, one standing and one kneeling, and two sets of hands. The Horta has a piece that pops off so it can either be whole or injured by the phaser. All of these different pieces lets you customize the diorama however you like. The articulation is limited but who cares when you have so much stuff to tinker with. I am thinking about getting the rest of the line. :bolian:

I'm hoping Black Series will do a Quinlan Vos.

It'd be nice if they touched on a few of the old EU, Clone Wars and background characters but I think that - at least for now - the 6" line will focus heavily on far more recognizable characters that are from the movies everybody's seen. They're doing a realistically-styled Commander Cody, but knowing Hasbro they probably chose him because he was live-action Clone who was seen in Episode III several years before he started appearing on The Clone Wars.

A 6" Quinlan Vos would probably look very cool, though. If the 6" line has long-term staying power on shelves who knows which characters they might make?
