But who is Onomatopoeia?!
But who is Onomatopoeia?!
I know his as a Green Arrow Villain.
When he fights, it looks/sounds like a fight scene from Adam West's Batman.
BIFF!
POW!

Ok, there it is! There's what I've been waiting for. The episode that shows me why this is a show worth watching.
Why the smeg isn't this show called "Penguin"?
The characters you listed were the ones I was referring to. I knew Penguin and the mob bosses have always been quite a bit older than Batman.^I'm not sure I'd agree that the characters we've seen on Gotham are usually the same age as Bruce. It's generally assumed that Bruce became Batman in his mid-20s, give or take, and is in his early 30s or thereabouts in the "present day." The Penguin always struck me as being in his 40s or 50s. (Burgess Meredith was 59 when he began playing the role.) The Riddler could anywhere from mid-30s to mid-40s; he's more an intellectual villain than a physical one, usually. (Although Frank Gorshin was only 33 when he debuted as the Riddler, five years younger than Adam West.) Catwoman is around Batman's age or younger, and that fits the show's Selina. And the only other comics villains we've seen so far are Falcone and Maroni, who were introduced as veteran mob bosses when Batman was just starting out. So all the villains so far are in exactly the age range relative to Bruce that I'd expect them to be. Nygma's maybe a bit older than one would expect, something like 15 years Bruce's senior, but that's not unreasonable given his character.
The only characters so far who are older than they "ought" to be are Bullock, Montoya, and Allen, and probably Sarah Essen. Although that will change with the upcoming appearance ofNicholas D'Agosto as Harvey Dent, who'll be about Gordon's age in the show. Conversely, we'll also get Morena Baccarin playing a considerably younger version of Leslie Thompkins.
