More and more I'm thinking that Missy is a character we haven't met yet.
God I hope so. Heaven forbid they introduce a new character!!

Aye, and if my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a wagon.
I pray Missy isn't a female Master, it'd be pointless. The Rani was created for the purpose of being a female timelord antagonist, what's the point of making the Master female? And that would mean my worst fears could become true one day: a female doctor. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Personally I'd like her to be the Rani or someone new.
Casual?
I'm thinking we must be looking at "casual" from different directions, because it seems pretty blatant to me, rather than casual.Casual?
Yep.

Ah, OK, yea from that angle, I agreeI'm thinking we must be looking at "casual" from different directions, because it seems pretty blatant to me, rather than casual.Yep.
Casual in the sense that there is no reflection, no realization they are being misogynistic.
It's blatant, I agree.

Sure, you may watch it, and not like the dynamic they work with, with a female Doctor, but, to automatically dismiss it, without waiting to see where they go with it...

Personally, this is the sort of reaction that makes me pray that Missy is a female Master.
Seriously, your WORST fear is a female Doctor? Really? Suddenly you would stop watching Doctor Who?
The casual misogyny of science fiction fans always astounds me.
Joanna Lumley.

We survived.
It was pretty clear that she was going to do it with the Master.
(Barely survived that.)
