That's not Nightwing. It's Batman from Batman Beyond. There was a cartoon in the late 90s to early 00s where an elderly Bruce Wayne mentored a new Batman in the future, Terry McGinnis. Terry recently made his mainstream comics debut in the Future's End weekly title going on right now.

Yeah, that's what I meant. My bad, I typed the wrong name. I never followed it back in the day and much of what I know about that particular timeline/ universe comes from the toys that were in stores like Walmart around the beginning of the century.

On another note, I got out to several stores I don't normally hit today. I saw 2 Aliens, a Kane, and 2 Rocketeers at 1 Walmart. I saw Wasp at several stores. The TRU I went to had 5 full pegs of MI Hyperion wave only.

They're being done by DC Collectibles, so it will be their typical 7" scale. The ones shown so far look fantastic. Batman: The Animated Series was pretty much the defining show of my childhood. I couldn't possibly be more excited for these.

I think 5.5 to 6" There is a lot of articulation too.

Yeah, they'll at a 6" scale. As for articulation, the Batman figure, for example, will have 24 points.

You can see what they look like here, alongside the old Kenner figures for comparison.

They appear to be priced at around $20 each, what you'd expect for a 6" scale figure these days.

Not that I'm aware of, but I'd love to see a retro line of TV Hulk figures with a Bill Bixby David Banner action figure or 12" articulated doll. I don't think that the old Bixby/Ferrigno series ever got a line of action figures or dolls but it would be pretty cool to have somebody make them.

There aren't many figures you could realistically make since aside from Banner and the Hulk the only regular or even recurring character was reporter Jack McGee, but the Season 4 two-part episode "The First" featured another Hulk creature played by stuntman Dick Durock, and that guy's makeup was just downright creepy. He'd make for a pretty eerie-looking action figure.

Just ordered the Diamond Select DS9 Trials and Tribble-ations figure set.
Sisko, Dax, Bashir and O'Brian in TOS uniforms.

I have the series of figures made by Playmates, which included Odo in his trader gear & Captain Koloth.

Unfortunately DST didn't make a Trials Worf and Odo. Missed opportunity there. Same with the unreleased Chapel and Rand figures.

After seein' how Diamond Select screwed up Constable Odo, I'm okay with them leavin' Tribbles Odo alone.

Though I do wish Playmates had made a Tribbles Worf with the rest of the series. They made a version of Worf every other damn way.

When The Incredible Hulk movie with Edward Norton & Tim Roth came out, I saw a double back for both Hulk & Abomination that included Banner & Blonsky.

They human versions were smaller and were supposed to be placed in the larger monster versions.

I kinda wish I had bought 'em, but I didn't....and haven't seen 'em since that one trip that time to Toys R Us.

There was also a few Bana versions for the Ang Lee movie-and a recently released Avengers Rufallo along with his alter ego.

I pay so little attention to some of the more recent Marvel toys that I didn't know or had forgotten those Banner figures. Thanks. I'd still much prefer a Bill Bixby figure based on the 1978-82 TV series for all sorts of reasons, but I'm glad they actually made some merchandise for the Edward Norton film. To this day he remains my favorite film version of the character, moreso than Mark Ruffalo.

I try to pretend the Eric Bana movie never existed.

They need to make a Banner figure with an electronic feature that plays "The Lonely Man" when you press a small button in the middle of his back or on his arm. 1979 bell-bottom trousers sold separately.

Edward Norton is my favorite modern Banner, too.
