Defiance Season 2 Discussion

It isn't really a regular thing, they may have done that two or three times, and one of those times was a song with English lyrics about Ryetso and Irzu and whoever the other races worship.
WHEN will we know?
I'll admit, it is a bit odd we haven't heard anything yet. Both seasons 1 and 2 began filming in September 2012 and 2013, respectively, and here we are half way through September 2014 and we haven't heard anything regarding if it's returning or not.
Thankfully Season 2 kind of brought most of the series main threads to a close, but the cliffhanger aspect of that finale could put us in another Farscape Season 4 situation...
Under normal circumstances, I'd agree. But I don't think SyFy has announced anything about any of their shows. A bit understandable, they've recently had a major overhaul of their executive staff who are eager to get more sci-fi. IMO, Defiance stands a good chance of coming back since it seems more inline with what the new executives want, actual science fiction. But that's pure speculation on my part and should be treated accordingly.
I didn't know about the executive staff overhaul, that could be part of it. It would also explain the sudden shift towards more straight sci-fi, I'd been wondering what brought that about. I thought maybe they just got tired of people complaining about the lack of sci-fi on Syfy.
Yay! Though season 2 was grating towards the end, I am intrigued by the ending and interested to see what direction things go in.
^Yeah. If I had watched the second season "week-to-week" I think I might have found certain things grating as well.
However, I watched the whole season in a long-weekend and rather enjoyed it.

Just saw this YES!!! super happy. This has been the only show I've worried about and missed. It has so many elements that I like as well as having improved immensely.
Well with the main arc thing finished it will be interesting to see where they go with season 3.
Someone is going to be 8 months pregnant at the beginning of Season 3.

Oh PLEASE no, I've had about enough of Nolan barking "MY DAUGHTER" every other line. Give him another daughter or a son and they might as well send in a Nolan-bot to do the acting.
