DC's New 52: Reviews and Discussion (Spoilers welcolme and likely)

I'm enjoying Batman, Batman & Robin, Justice League, and Superman.

I'm still reading Batman Eternal, Superman / Woman Woman... I was just about to finally drop Green Lantern and GLC but then they had to go bring in the New Gods...

Still Reading from DC:

Monthly:
Aquaman
Swamp Thing
Earth 2
World's Finest
Justice League (This one is pretty bad, but I read it out of morbid curiosity)
Detective Comics
Batman Eternal
Wonder Woman (I'll be stopping when Azarello is done)
Teen Titans (I'm giving it a chance, but I'm not sure how long I'll read it)
Infinity Man & The Forever People

Digital First:
Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman
Injustice: Gods Among Us Year Two
Smallville (whatever mini its on at the moment)

As for Soule leaving, its too bad, it looks like I'll be done with Swamp Thing when he's gone. Still, I like his Marvel stuff a lot too, so hopefully he'll be able to do more there.

So far the only current DC comics I've read are Azzarello's WW (first 3 trades), and Smallvile (first arc) but I hope to eventually read more of both. I also read the first trade of JLD before I started WW, and I'm hoping to get back to it.
I definitely plan to check out:
Batman
Action Comics
Swamp Thing
Green Lantern
Aquaman

I'm curious about:
All Star Western
Batwoman
The Flash
Nightwing/Grayson
Supergirl

Finished series I want to read:
Demon Knights
I, Vampire
Sword of Sourcery

All Star Western is great. i really enjoyed Demon Knights, I Vampire and Sword of Sorcery.

Peter Tomasi is taking over "Superman/Wonder Woman" from Solue so I'm continuing it. He's doing fantastic work on "Batman and Robin" right now so am willing to give him a shot.

I totally forgot about "Grayson" thanks @JD really enjoying it so far.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone read the comic version of The Star Wars? It's based on the very early conceptualizations of what become ANH.

Yes, it was great. I am not one to pick up Star Wars comics but this was too good to pass up.

It was extremely confusing to read though; I couldn't separate this story from my preconceived notions of the actual story.

I'll admit, that can be a little tricky. I was flipping through a copy at the local B & N yesterday and it's strange to read characters who share names with the ones we're familiar with, but who are in many ways entirely different.

What with all the people wondering about the title new 52 still being around I wondered if anyone has been discussing who will apparently be showing up in Justice League 3000. For those who don't know the comic follows clones of the Justice League in the year 3000. Anyway apparently the December issue will be guest starring Blue and Gold as in what looks to be the classic Blue Beetle and Booster Gold http://www.theouthousers.com/index....ld-blue-beetle-and-the-pre-nu52-universe.html with the idea being that this series is actually set in the old continuity.

Yes this is probably the start of the "Band Aid" project, aka "Blood Moon" that Bleeding Cool reported on during the summer time.

Almost it's "like" not the same - in this Universe, Beetle was never shot in the head.

I read Swamp Thing: Futures End One Shot

I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of the story was.
I know how it ended. I know what Holland wanted.
It felt very anti-climatic and if I didn't read it, I don't feel I'd have missed anything.

I've still got the Aquaman one to read but I'm already feeling like I've likely wasted money on the few Futures End books I have. Maybe I'm jumping the gun on one book.
