Lovely shot, Squiggy! Thanks ... and this is just brilliant.Sharp, colorful. Love the composition and bokeh. Really well-done, all 'round!
Me and my dad standing on the field at AT&T Stadium (home of Dallas Cowboys): Comerica Park (Detroit) at sundown. The sun is setting right behind me. I'm sure the park was built just for this. Miller Park (Milwaukee) from the outside. The field in the foreground is a Little League field built on the site of the old Milwaukee County Stadium. A view of Toronto, a city I have totally fallen in love with, taken from the top of the CN Tower.
Okay, brace yourselves, because these are not good pics. But I had the thrill of my life on Sunday when I saw the cast of TNG on stage in Chicago! These were taken with my iPhone and zoomed all the way in. Michael, Marina and Levar were on the couch on the left, Brent, Gates and Jonathan were on the couch on the right and in the middle were Sir Patrick and moderator William Shatner. IMG_0265 by kyleneets, on Flickr IMG_0264 by kyleneets, on Flickr The panel was fantastic! Only a few questions, but the cast had such great answers that it didn't matter. You can tell this was a tight group, based on their banter. They became so engaged in talking with one another that at one point Gates put her mike in her lap and talked for about 30 seconds without it, forgetting that they were in front of a huge crowd. It was a once in a lifetime experience and one I'll never forget.
I'm surprised the shot from up there isn't of Skydome (it'll always be Skydome to me). We were there Sat to see the Rays. First time the wife and I have been there that we've had extra innings.
^ I do have some shots of the stadium from up there, but they were 1) taken from above the glass floor, and 2) extremely bad shots because I was so eager to get AWAY from the glass floor.
My brother and his wife went to that! It sounds like it was great. I would have gone but I already had tickets to a concert that night.
Oh, yeah, it was so much fun! When I first heard about it I knew that I couldn't miss it, even if I had to sit in the cheapest nosebleed seats. Me and my brother attend Chicago Comic Con every year anyway and the theatre was just a short walk from the convention center.
Congrats on the panel, Toxteth! Looks absolutely fantastic! More great shots Saga & MLB! FSM ... were you playing the part of Threepio?
LOL I thought about that after I saw the pic... I wouldn't be able to pull it off.. I got English and written Latin, while C3P0 has six million forms of communication
