Under the Dome, Season 2 Thread

"Under the DUMB"

How convent there was a doomsday prepper that had enough food for the whole town for 2 months! At the end of the episode every was happy, getting along, eating.. Jeesh.. and I thought Voyager was bad when the ship looked like new every week. ;)

Soylent Green! Solylent Green! I wouldn't be surprised if they recycled their own people. ;)

Seriously though, I'm not surprised that they solved that so quickly, given how inconsistent the show has been. But a good writer should have taken the opportunity to run with it and make it one of the major plot threads running throughout the season, with them facing the reality of food shortage. For a show supposedly about survival, there doesn't seem to be much of that going on.

I have been teetering on the edge of abandoning this show; the tunnel under the locker just finished the job.

The shark has been jumped.

No, the sharks are jumping today:

SyFy

12:00-2:00. Mega Shark v. Giant Octopus
2:00-4:00. Mega Shark v. Mecha Shark
4:00-6:00. Sharknado
6:00-8:00. Sharknado 2

I am right there with you. The last episode was even more ludicrous than the one before. What are they thinking?

I don't think they're thinking much right now to be honest :wtf:.

Better than some reality tv shows though. For what it's worth.

The disaster of the week plots are really wearing out their welcome. It's a fire or a sandstorm or acid rain or whatever week after week...enough.

Enterprise is Great said:
I think that the MOAB bomb only destroyed part of the area outside the dome. I really don't recall that the damage was everywhere around the dome.

Yeah, last season after the MOAB detonated we still saw some areas outside of the dome that seemed unaffected by the bomb so it clearly only devastated part of the surrounding area.

That or the show runners are lazy and stupid and don't give enough of a damn to keep these things consistent. Your pick. ;)

So you fall down the tunnel under the school and you wind up in Barbie's hometown Zenith...WTF? And I'm guessing that the red door seen at the end of the episode leads back to Chester's Mill. Oooo-kay.......they're just flinging all kinds of shit at the wall on this show, ain't they?

Also Barbie's Dad confirms that the MOAB bomb destroyed half the area surrounding the Dome. I think the show explained that visually but I think that this is the first time that it was said by a character in the series.

Why does it have to be a government cover-up? Are Americans so afraid of their leaders?

"I think we're screwed if we have to go up against the army." - George Carlin

What government coverup?

I thought it was just an information blackout.

Would Chesters Mill go insane if they could talk to the real world?

It's just about health and safety.

It's possible that he, the actor, might not be able to act anymore.

On Chelsea lately last month, she told him that he should stop sticking his tongue out all the time because it's gross, and he says "No I never, I don't... Do I?"

He's screwed. :)
