I'm kinda interested to see if any of the leaked concept art (Klingon Sarcophagus ship?) is actually in the series, and if so, what the finished product / starship actually looks like.

Like everyone else, mainly I want amazing stories. That's a given.
Personally I'd prefer tasteful and LIMITED use of CGI so it doesn't instantly date as much, a cast that develops great chemistry over the course of the run and not three years from now, and for the first season arc to REALLY click and justify the format and get us frothing at the mouth for season two.
The tech stuff is a big shrug. I don't care about too much continuity porn, just bringing back Prime and telling interesting stories in an unexplored corner of it is enough! I don't really need to see any familiar names back,
I don't mind time travel, and I wouldn't mind a riff on modern AR/VR/gaming via a prototype early holodeck or something. More social commentary, more progressive heart, Bryan Fuller unchained with wise Nick Meyer cynicism to give it some bite...and his brand of tense sub warfare like battles!
