Your Star Trek collections

I know there are plenty of Star Trek collectors here.
I thought it would be great to have a thread where everyone can show their collections or new items they've added.

Doesn't matter if you're collecting models, books, actions figures, photos, costumes, toys or anything else. If it's related to Star Trek and you'd like to share it with the community please post the photos here.

Okie dokie, then.

Here we go again!

Some of these have been though 1 or 2 too many moves and have suffered badly. C'est la vie.

When I was a teenager in the 90's, I collected the Playmates action figure line. I forget exactly how many I accumulated, but it must've been a few dozen. They're all boxed up in storage at my parents place out west now.

I also collected the Micro Machines sets. To illustrate how long ago that was, the first set still has a price sticker from Eaton's (which was basically the Canadian version of Macy's), which closed years ago. They didn't sell the second or third sets in Canada, but my dad managed to acquire the second set on a business trip in Vegas.

The third set eluded me for years, usually going for obscene prices on eBay, but I finally found one about six years ago on there that was not too outrageous, and bought it. Since both Set I and II were not in great shape this point (Most of the Set I ships were broken from being dropped or dirty from years of being handled by my grubby little adolescent fingers, and Set II had a lot of ships that, frankly. were overlooked by quality control), I eventually bough a second one of each.

Not too long after that, however, I started collecting the Eaglemoss ships. I'm up to about 130 now. I got a few of the Johnny Lighting and Furuta ships as well, but eventually boxed up both those and the Micro Machines to make way for the Eaglemoss ones.

I have a few more on the way and a couple more shuttle sets I hope to get when I have the funds. Not sure where I'll put them.

I worked at Eaton's at the Fairview Shopping Centre in Pointe Claire, QC from 1974 to 1977 while in school. Camera Department.

A camera department in a department store? Talk about an extinct job.

First of all, very impressive collection.
Second, what's that model of the TOS Enterprise bridge?
Did you build that? Was it a kit? Is it scaled for action figures?

I've lost track of the best / preferred way to share images on this site. I have plenty of pictures...just not sure how to appropriately post them.

I like ImgBB because it's free, and you don't have to make an account (though if you want to be able to manage and delete your images, then you do need to register an account and upload them within the account).

I'm not sure if my way is the most efficient but I use pinterest.

Anyway here are some items from my collections so far. The collection is still very much in progress and nowhere near as cool as @LAFR 's but I'm having a good fun building it :)

I have the saucer section of an Enterprise model I assembled in 1969, also a Ballantine Making of Star Trek of that vintage (the second cover design) and the View-Master version of "Omega Glory" (but no viewer). I was quite the 12-year-old fan. The only Star Trek novel I own is Spock Must Die!, purchased when new in 1970.

Around 1991 I purchased the single-episode VHS tapes of "The Empath" and "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" and more recently acquired the director's editions of the first two movies. I also have the color fotonovel of TMP.

Thank you, I have been collecting the autographs since the early 70s conventions in NYC. I have also added to my collection from EBay since 1998. Skybox and Rittenhouse have done an amazing job of acquiring sign cards for us collectors. But the best is still receiving them in person.

I had some Eaglemoss..Johnny Lightnings…and the plumbing disaster turned the ceiling to crud—which fell and broke everything underneath. The workmen broke the rest boxing thing up…and bragged about the new carpet they laid down.

My guardian angel is a be-yotch

Just in time to celebrate William Shatner's trip to the space I've added these four captain Kirk stamps to the collection :)
